Use plinth n dpc together...
It will be better.
Let the ground floor slab be on same level as that of top portion of plinth beam n dpc on top of plinth beam.
Use simple wire mesh on floor slab for better holding against soil subsistence .
Use waterproofing compund with cement for ground floor slab, too...
