You should do some tutorials for this eye shape. I can't seem to find a single TH-cam channel that does make-up on this eyeshape. It's always "making small eyes larger" and how to hide large eyes. I don't want to "hide" my eyeshape. I just want a cute makeup look.
I know I am *super* late but check out you tubers Irene Khan and violette_fr. two *gorgeous* women with very prominent lids/eyes who don't try to hide them and both great artists.
I've been doing my makeup thinking I had deep set, hooded eyes, I have literally watched hundreds of you tube channels makeup tutorials on this. I came across your channel recently and found that I have prominent hooded eyes... WTF! No other channel explained it like you did. You are Gold! No wonder my makeup looked funky all this time!

I was always confused about my eye shape because I have double eyelid creases and I assumed it was round. This really helped and seems a lot similar to my eye shape.
Okay so now It's confirmed I have round, prominent eyes. This makes so much more sense now. I just want to learn what's the best look for my eye, cause I heard thin wing eyeliner, light mascara and neutral shadow is much better for my eye shape. I just wear heavy mascara everyday and don't play with anything else really.
i have round prominent eyes too! at first it was so hard for me to do makeup, you just have to try on different makeup styles until you find your own. for me, i hate wearing light shimmery shadow on the lid because it makes my eyes look weird, i usually go for a medium to dark shades on my lid, and for my eyeliner i go for a thin winged eyeliner, i like making my eyes look rounder though, instead of almondy shaped, because if i try to make them look like that it looks weird on me. anyway, hope that helps! enjoy your round prominent big eyes, we slay!

big eyelids are great, theres so much more room to make more complicated eyeshadow looks and applying eye makeup is usually easier. my mom and best friend both have tiny eyelids (friend is asian mom is native american ) and they both want larger eyelids so bad

No issue with having prominent eyes, didn't realise anyone thought they were a problem. I've often received compliments on my 'prominent' eyes. All eye shapes are beautiful imo. It's all a bit silly... for example, big, round, curvy, booty's, are currently coveted, not so a few years ago... They have always been gorgeous, as are, prominent, brown, blue, green, grey, hooded, upturned, downturned, whatever eyes... It's diversity. It's true beauty.

this is great. I definitely have deep set eyes because my eyebrow bone is so prominent, but they are almost a bit prominent at the bottom of the eye... if that makes sense. Anyway, very helpful, thank you
Chicabeeeellllaaaa!!! It makes sense, but it doesn't affect the makeup application that much, because half of women with deep set eyes have the lower part of the eye more prominent. It counts only with prominent eyes, because it makes them protruding if the lower lid is very round. :)
Im a guy and my eyes are very similar. I always look tired or high. My gf calls them “bug” or “gecko” eyes I wish they were more deep set and less lid on the top to give me a more masculine eyes They look cute on this models haha

I have very big eyes and I thought that they were protruding ( as the guy was saying, when the eye is closed, it's rounded.) I have a deep socket line and high brow bones and no bags underneath. I grew my eyebrows back, they were quite thinly plucked. I think that it has a lot to do with the brows. Yes I have very big eyes and they do have the bump when closed, but if you feel your brow bone and cheek bone as a circular continuum and there's a big hollow, your very big eyes must be deep set ? It's about the brows. Also people with fleshy upper eye ( under the browbone ) have a completely different bone structure even if their eyes appear deep set. I feel that it's the hollows and the prominence of the cheek bones and the brow bones that determines whether or not you have protruding or deep set eyes. Ultimately I think that tutorials are helpful for people who are new to make-up or who don't understand the structure of the face. Otherwise, go with what makes you feel good, not what some make-up artist tells you. People I've seen after make-overs by "professionals" with their photographs. Have to say, in the main the make-overs were dreadful. They looked infinitely better as their usual selves.
i have this exact eye shape and i always felt like doing makeup is difficult. this model looks good but i always felt that my round prominent eyes don't suit my face...i may sound superficial but im honestly glad my kid didn't inherit my eye shape lol
The title confused me a lot, like a lot. "Prominent vs protruding" I looked up the definition and the mean the same thing. To stand out, stick out. It should be something vs something like dark or bright, down or high, in or out. But "prominent vs protruding" is basically comparing a very same thing to another.

In my opinion, Valeria has a mix between prominent and deep set eyes, it's not one completely but a mix of both. She could be an exception :) Thank you so much for replying. Ciao Karen! I will be doing makeup on mature women in two month's time. I'll covered what you requested as soon as I get the model. Regarding the triangle face shape. For me it doesn't exist. If something, I call it a pear shaped face, means that the jawline is wider than the forehead. :)

I have really big eyes 1/2 times bigger then an adult, since I'm as blind as a bat I wear glasses so it makes my eyes look small but when I take them off people are like WTF

Biological females usually have prominent eyes, while Male to Female(MTF) Transgender celebrities(that represent themselves as "female"), have a deep set eyes.
I am confuse, you used the same model for both, so basically you can have both and prominent just refer to eyeball-eyebrow ratio and protruding to eyeball-highcheeks ratio

I have these eyes and knowing the type has helped a bunch with make up
i have this exact eye shape and i always felt like doing makeup is difficult. this model looks good but i always felt that my round prominent eyes don't suit my face...i may sound superficial but im honestly glad my kid didn't inherit my eye shape lol

The title confused me a lot, like a lot. "Prominent vs protruding" I looked up the definition and the mean the same thing. To stand out, stick out. It should be something vs something like dark or bright, down or high, in or out. But "prominent vs protruding" is basically comparing a very same thing to another.
Please try to explain to me a bit further. Please, enlighten me.

In my opinion, Valeria has a mix between prominent and deep set eyes, it's not one completely but a mix of both. She could be an exception :) Thank you so much for replying. If I spoke your same language, maybe I could explain it better.

Ive been thinking surgery too. I fuckin hate my eyes. Protruding eyes are gross and ugly. My friend said my eyes pop out and remind her of bugs eyes. Disgusting.

Ciao Karen! I will be doing makeup on mature women in two month's time. I'll covered what you requested as soon as I get the model. Regarding the triangle face shape. For me it doesn't exist. If something, I call it a pear shaped face, means that the jawline is wider than the forehead. :)

I have these type of eyes mixed with a bit of hooded eye shape, my eyebrow bone skin is like heavy? If that's the right word but with protruding eyes and there's no tutorials for my eyes so I never wear eyeshadow :(

I have really big eyes 1/2 times bigger then an adult, since I'm as blind as a bat I wear glasses so it makes my eyes look small but when I take them off people are like WTF

Biological females usually have prominent eyes, while Male to Female(MTF) Transgender celebrities(that represent themselves as "female"), have a deep set eyes.
I am confuse, you used the same model for both, so basically you can have both and prominent just refer to eyeball-eyebrow ratio and protruding to eyeball-highcheeks ratio
