When I was taking a Civics class in college our Teacher asked by a show of hands who was voting in the upcoming Presidential election. Only 3 people raised their hands. When our Teacher inquired the reason for the rest of the class not voting, the reply was, "We don't like either candidate." He then told us, "If there isn't a clear-cut candidate to vote for, vote for the lesser of the two evils." The next class, after the election, he asked how many of us decided to vote. The whole class raised their hands. Only once, in my entire life, did I vote for a presidential candidate with whom I had complete confidence. All my other votes were cast for the lesser of the two evils.

We need Millennials & Gen Zs to step up & take their rightful place in our government; it is their time. I just listened to an interview with Rep. Maxwell Alejandro Frost, from Orlando, Florida. I hope he is an inspiration to other Gen Zs to throw their hats into the political ring.

I was one of the first to vote at 18 in 1972. I voted every Presidential and Midterm and felt a dire need to do so. Most new voters also did that I knew. The few that didn't had parents that never voted. This Daily Show was before Trump's 1st term I hope. After Trump became president they better feel the need to vote now, and not for Trump. I hope they understand why Republican trolls say " you shouldn't bother to vote because both parties are the same" . That's a Republican tactic that they came up with when Reagan ran his first term. Republican's weren't as popular and needed help to suppress the vote. Now they have Republican media and Evangelicals now vote and their Preachers are very much persuaders for Republican's since they get kickbacks of some sort from Republican's.
