@@n30418 I don't agree; once you follow Dambe it's a massive sport (and i don't understand Hausa either). I'm a huge MMA fan, from UFC 1 till 300 i was saw every fight; Max is the man right now after that Gaethje KO.
MMA is one thing but Dambe has it's own flavor: the musicians with the talking drums (if miked well, they can sound as heavy as metallica IMO); the trance like rap of a fighter, backed the drums; the open in your face challenge to a fight; the acceptance of the challenge; the celebration over an unconscious opponent; the effort to revive a seemingly dead fighter after a brutal KO...i could go on.
These fighters I don't forget: Ramadan (a fighting fanatic), Zazu (lunatic), Bahagon Maitakwasara (all balls a showmanm), Ali Kanin Bello (brute), Ebola (killer) , Chindo (little giant killer who will fight any size man and win), Ilele (i don't know why i like this fighter 😂 ), Dogo Mai Takwarara (warrior), Autan Mamman (fighter with a blood lust, god made him to fight) ...there are many more fighters and some (like Ramadan )seem to fight every day
Sadly, you have to want to follow the sport to get into it, and the language makes it hard to follow, but it's definitely entertaining

@@slickrick5811 why would I be interested in watching a sport that uses one arm to fight when there is a sport that uses 8 limbs to fight, plus grappling. Taekwondo is more intertaining than dambe.

This is probably the oldest combat sport in the world. They must preserve it and make it even greater.
