They look great, I purchased a set of Viking saddle bags for my 2015 Fatboy. And I used a bracket instead of what they sent, and I was able to keep my rear turn signals in the original spot.
I am looking to purchase the same bags. I appreciate the review and the comments about the brackets. I too would think that they would stick out too far. Can you please tell me what fairing you have?
I've been looking at the leather wrapped version of this for my 95 Heritage Softail Classic. The brackets you made do the support the lower end of the bag when there is a heavy load in them. Meaning do they tend on folding in at the bottom twords the axle, break caliper?

Rear lights are led strip under rear fender and along inside of bags.
She had everything folded perfectly and you just toss her shit back in. Lmao!

There aren't any lights on the rear of your bike. That looks very unsafe at night.
