    Great tutorial. Learned quite a bit about Refine by your going through the sliders and providing examples with them. Thanks for sharing.

    This was really helpful! I’ve been trying to select flowers so I can change the background (often a soft color), and I’ve had an awful time getting nice edges.

    Hello. Is it possible to copy the selection itself (ants) from a photo in Affinity Photo to a photo opened in Photoshop or Illustrator?

    • @inaffinityforaffinityphoto3220
      @inaffinityforaffinityphoto3220  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Try select, copy, switch to PS, paste. If this doesn't work, paste into new image, Document/Clip Canvas, then export to file. Then load into PS.

    Thank you so much! Yet another example of how Affinity trumps the competition.
    Can you tell me if Affinity Photo has an equivalent of the Photoshop selection feature where you control/command + click the layer thumbnail to select it? I used that so much... God bless!

    Too bad there is no contrast slider

    • @inaffinityforaffinityphoto3220
      @inaffinityforaffinityphoto3220  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can add a live Brightness and Contrast adjustment beforehand and increase contrast to help find edges, then delete the adjustment layer after the refinement.
