I see a Paige video, I tap, I watch and I comment. Paige’s videos are relatable, informative and keeps everyone entertained. She creates great content and useful for everyone to understand. Great content Paige
When the skirt was cheaper than the flaming hot cheetos!!😂 The hat was a Christmas Pudding. It's disgusting but it's traditional to have it at Christmas (you light it on fire)
I walk past there so many times and had no idea it existed. Insane prices but things like that in the UK are. WHSmith (or some branches) do American candy. Sainsbury’s also but they are not cheap either. It’s usually the same when we go abroad and try and buy UK bars of chocolate. Great video by the way. 😉👍🏽
Welcome home, Paige, I love a good surprise 🥰. I know you can’t wai5 to get to your favorite store.....Walmart🤣👍🏽...and you had great weather for your visit!
Thanks for taking us on a tour of Oxford Street. Those skirts are 🔥 and the prices are so affordable. Cannot wait to see what you pair them with. Your friend seems chill. 🥰
18:22 it's a christmas pudding, Paige! It's a traditional fruit pudding we eat for dessert after christmas dinner. You pour brandy over it and then set it on fire! Watch a video of one on youtube, it's awesome xx
Paige Mariah oh yeah, for sure! Especially the inflection with which you ask questions. My friends made fun of me incessantly when I would visit home for the holidays. Lol!
its so strange watching myself in someone else's video, lol. Especially someone who i've been watching for almost a year! so cool! Thanks for having me be a part of the vlog! It was a super fun day!!!!!
I feel like I'm hearing Paige slip into some British cadences!! 10:29 "...you prefer the snow over rain"? (Hear how she says the word 'rain'? lol and at 11:52 "..can they see"? Listen to her lilt as she says 'see' lol #TooCute
Hey Paige, after seeing you shop Primark so often, I must say it's the one store every person who visits London must shop. While you were moving around to different location in the store, I saw so many items that I wanted to buy. I would love to come there during the holiday season to shop until I drop. Lol!!!!! Thanks so much for the tour of Oxford Street along with your homie.
As regards the American Candy Store, it's the same at 'Ex Pat' stores all over the world. The 'World Food Shop' in Mumbai sells everything from smoked salmon to sausage for about R3,000 a Kg no matter what it is...
Those prices were ridiculous at that candy store!!!. You can go to B&M and they've got a US section in their stores where you can get a lot of those items for a reduction of the cost.
All grocery stores sell it. Last Christmas I was there, i bought in Waitrose (I think), Prince of Wales brand. It was very good. It's very sweet but good. Give it a try. You never know. LOL
Your experience of US candy in London is the same issue I have getting UK products in Florida. They tend to be very expensive because of import duty and exchange rate. Tea in Florida is way more expensive than I would pay in the UK. Same thing with groceries.
Thank you so much for showing the prices in the American Candy store. I have been in the UK for a year so I am definitely missing my snack but I'm not about to spend that much on some Reese's or twizzlers lol
Paige if you want to experience a really pretty Christmas store, you should definitely try popping into Fortnum & Mason in Piccadilly! It's beautiful and very British!
The high cost for the American Candy shop is because they have to import it, it's the same anywhere i.e. 'British sweets' in America are also expensive
They have those same snacks in france rome and london in regular stores but at regular prices like 1.99 euros so I dont know whats going on with American Cny store they trippin
Its mainly because of the astronomical rents and business rates they have to pay from having their shop where it is. If you notice , They stay open quite late...Have to pay the rent!Having a shop on one of the busiest shopping streets in the world isn't cheap!
Amari looks so much like Doja Cat! You're both gorgeous. I'm a born and bred Londoner, but it's interesting to see the city through someone else's perspective ☺️. Loving your videos ♥️
Yes she should get the friends mug,👀 I liked/ still like, friends as well as Living Single. I understand your point Paige, but they we're actually the same developer come to find out.
Jones girl I didn’t know that. Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately, I didn’t get the mug but I decided I’d go back for it. Hopefully, it’s still there, lol 😂
@@artsygirlify Yes they were, not to sound racist because I'm not, but the one was more directed towards whites and the other towards blacks. It just makes sense. But I still liked both.
OMG your slight British accent highkey popped out at 10:31 😆 I don’t think that I got to Oxford Street much when I visited London, so this was a really refreshing video! If at all possible, I would love to see more food vlogs at maybe some hidden gems or ethnic restaurants that you may find in England - kind of like your video about British breakfast food!
Good to know. I actually went in Tk Maxx when I was there. I was laughing so hard at the two of you in the American Candy Store.😂😂 The cake on the headband looked like a bundt cake.
Paige your friend looks like Kourtney Kardashian. I love these videos where you are out and about exploring the different stores and that you are conscious of of the prices. How cold is it in London now and are you going home for the Holidays? Take care and have fun.
That size bag of Cheetos is £4.00 if you look online! I ordered myself a few bags! And the Laffy taffy is only 50p! American websites save you so much money
You miss all the good shops we once had such as British home stores and few well know British ones, but that is life...enjoy your shopping....I think Paris worst then here when it comes to buying clothes perfume....Paige are you going home for the festive season with the family.
Enjoyed this video. What is Primark store merchandise equivalent to? TJ Maxx, Marshall's, Kmart, Burlington, Rainbow, Target, Century 21? Never been there.
Lol i found the pop tarts sold in the american store at Asda and b&m for £2 🤗🤗🤗🤗 here in Wales definitely check around and you might find them. Would love to meet up if you ever visit Wales(Cardiff City Center) area.
omg i’m new to your channel and i’m planning on moving to London when i graduate next year and I love BooHoo that company is amazing!! Keep up the amazing work with your videos!
I haven't been shopping in a while, so I was living vicariously through you on this shopping trip and I'm so sad you didn't give us a haul afterward! hahaha I need to know what all you got! 😂 5 pounds for that skirt?! Primark is so awesome! I thought they don't light the lights until December 1st though?
How long are in London so far? Do you like it ? After school would you consider living there ? My daughter went for two weeks on a school trip and said she’d love to live therr
Oxford street is a shadow of its old self. Its heyday was in the 90's and the early 2000's, when they had Virgin, HMV and Our Price record stores, loads of fashion shops Before the internet ruined everything. It used to be the place to go in London. Now it no longer has the energy and electricity vibe it used to have.
Paige, idk if you noticed or someone has told you but you are definitely picking up the British accent lol. I heard it a couple of times in your video! It’s cute too lol.
Loved this video. You two are so cute. Glad you found another Chicagoan in London. 😌 Good times. I’m still mad 😡 at that American store. Like are you for serious? Inflation like a mug. Lol
We know we’re getting ripped off with the American store prices. It’s the same up here in Liverpool unfortunately. It’s probably costing these businesses a fortune importing the food into the uk so they pass on the cost to the customers. I do buy some items from these places but only as a treat when I’ve got the money.
One of these days we will hear paige say its mad init in a London accent 🤗🤗😂
hahaha doubt it!!
You both had such a fun day....Oxford street looked great, some fantastic architecture...keep warm x

Your friend is so cool. The American candy store is insane. Thanks for taking us there.
Thank you for watching!! 😊
Eileen M aw, thank you! & that store is like a game “how long before I get upset at the pricing?” 😂
When the skirt was cheaper than the flaming hot cheetos!!😂
The hat was a Christmas Pudding. It's disgusting but it's traditional to have it at Christmas (you light it on fire)
Hahah right!! & omg sounds very interesting lol
That American candy store tried it 😂😂😂
Hahah I know right!
Lala Chanel those prices are ridiculous!!
Lala Chanel Those are rip-offs omg 😩 I could buy some of those snacks at the dollar store or 99 cents store for cheaper

Aww, I’m from Chicago too and thinking of moving to London soon, so this was heartwarming to watch haha.
Great memories of Oxford Street. Used to work at 2 dept stores, (M&S, BHS) there. Loved shopping there back in the day. Btw love Christmas pudding

Those prices were absolutely crazy!...They had a lot of favors I think would do really well here in the states...
