Thank you for the video- I like the positivity! I have definitely not been doing that well on my hunter for pvp- so I was looking at changing something up.
Something that helps me is to warm up in BGs. Focus on putting out high dmg and kiting away without dying ! Hope it helps

It looks so easy if you play survival hunter but when i try it in arena or BG its much more difficult to play it good haha

if you have a damage meter try to maintain a high DPS for 2 minutes on a target dummy to learn the rotation. Then in BGs just focus on one ability at a time. Focus on surviving and running away.
@@Western_TV yeah truee have tried some games with survival hunter in BG , solo shuffle, arena but it so different as BM in playstyle and rotation. I deal some good dmg and get kills but to play it good its difficult if you not use to it with survival but gonna practice more thats a good tip i did it with my BM on a target dummy lets do it also with survival🔥🔥

Thanks! Both of those are good, really depends on what play style you prefer.
The best tip I have is go duel people outside the main cities to learn the other classes and their CDs.
Also practice your DPS rotation on target dummies + in BGs. Use a dps meter to see if other hunters in your group are doing more damage, what abilities are they using that you aren’t.

It’s a setting called outline mode in UI setting !
whats ur stat layout looking like ? im currently running vers haste>mastery kinda keeping haste and mastery kinda close but not too close more like 20%

its a list of the top 50 hunters and there they choose vers/haste > Crit > Mastery , which is what i am running

Would you ever use Scatter shot on a healer when trying to down a DPS?
definitely , it does share a DR with Freezing trap. So i like to stun first, then get a trap and use the scatter off the trap.
typically tho, i do use scatter mostly on off-dps because of the reduced 10% dmg after scatter is up for 10 sec. if i use scatter on the healer its because i could tell the healer is under alot of pressure
Do you use a macro for harpoon- freeze trap or are you manually dropping the trap. I don't know how many times I've missed a trap when I dive in lol
i have 2 separate macros
i use a focus macro for the harpoon and then a cursor macro for the trap
i definitely do not get every trap, but something that helps me is moving the cursor back and forth to make sure i get the trap in the right place by the time i land the root on the healer w the harpoon. if that makes sense. You can see what i do in that last clip where i talk about the macros from 11:25 - 11:40

Hey that macro would be for Kill Command as the ability
the reason you put pet attack and the other pet abilities is because the pet AI can be a bit buggy, so most of the offensive abilities use that to make sure your pet is attacking the enemy. you can also use it as a send pet if you arent close to the enemy to melee

Something else I might have left out is that in my discord the macros for WotLK are different than the dragonflight ones

My first solo shuffle I went 4/6 my second I went 0/6 so I think I might need some help lol
dont get discouraged, the lobbies are kinda wonky as they are figuring out your MMR. It evens out as you approach ~1400
@@Western_TV thanks, i hope by the time i hit 1400 i will be better at survival in general, just so many more buttons in pvp than in m+ or raid
Definitely be going into BGs and work at one thing at a time. Like trapping or kiting or having 0 deaths.
It also helps to make sure you have a good dps rotation. If you have a dmg meter try attacking a target dummy for ~2 min to start to get a good feel for it !
