I grew up using canned milk for coffee too. You can also melt butter and put them over plain cornflakes. I toss him in a ziplock bag. and put them on top Of your cheesy scalp potatoes. Let it cook first, and When you know that the potatoes are done testing it with a fork tender. You put the corn flakes, buttered cornflakes on top. . A nice presentation and it tastes good to gives a little Crunch! We used Canned milk in cooking my whole life and i'm a chef and I still do it. Enjoy your recipes reminds me of when I was younger and at home.. Wondering if you have a spoon jar on your table, we always did next to the bowl of suger canned milk for coffee or tea. Those were the good days. We had two farms growing up.. All the wonderful stories they told sitting around the table and having coffee. My grandma used to dip toasted bread with sugar and Sometimes cinnamon and sugar for me In her coffee and feed it to me .
