Question; I've seen some aluminum shields, they look great,, but your steel shield looks AMAZING! Is your shield harder (less malleable) than an aluminum shield? Heavier, lighter? Just curious...
His shield would be hard and heavier. Most low carbon steel 1/8" thick 2' diameter bent disks like that would weigh between 14 and 17 lbs. But his will be much stronger!
Thats cool and all, but I’m just wondering what kinda paint Cap used for the shield. That shit didn’t even fade away for over 70 years, even in the ice
There might be no question about how to make Captain America shield if everyone have this equipments.. You must've give this video a tittle like making my own Captain America shield...
The Australia chaser three methods. One with a hammer. 2 heat it up until it bends over a round surface (doesn’t always work) and the 3 takes to long to explain and would probably take a couple of hours to do. I will use option 2 or 3
Hello How To Make Stuff. What did you use to make this shield what diameter and what thickness was the material? Please let me know. Thanks! And great shield!
the problem is that tungsten shatters easily, so even tho it's really hard a bullet would break the whole thing apart if you're going for the closest replica you can get
Everyone's here talking about John Walker, so screw it; POV: I'm totally not Howard Stark wondering how to make a circular shield for a prototype shield that's going to be made with the strongest material on Earth
Nice sheild but for it to be more accurate here are the changes that should be made. A darker red, color the the parts that you didn't color white, and use brown straps on the back and use a more accurate material and have two straps instead of one. But I already love what you did already.
I'm pretty sure John Walker watched this before.
His was worse
@@LaineYoung he tried his best with the materials he had
pov: you’re john walker looking at how to make a shield
AHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHA
Ready to get dented LMAO
This guy is from Brazil he made a shield yes he is Brazilian
You watch any video about making Cap's shield, you will end up reading tons of comments on John Walker
So true

I’d say the best part is how it sounds like vibranium.
This is one of the best videos I saw on how to make one
Absolutely.

I thought the title said: How to steal Captain America’s shield
😂
Bucky: *takes up notepad*
Walker: NO THIS IS MY GAME!
Bucky & Sam: Nah, it's out shield now
The therapist: *looks sideways at notepad*
Step 1: Gang up and beat the shit out of the troubled man who has the shield
John Walker: This... is... AWESOME
4:26 Love how it sounds , almost sounds like the shield in the movies ❤❤❤
This guy is the Brazilian
Pro Tip: If you can't completely crouch and hide behind the shield, it's too small.
or either the shield or the person is too big
Thanks again, buddy!
Lol your sheild got droked XD
John Walker: "this is the way"
so this is how john walker found out how to make his shield
He didn't follow the directions very well
Someone outta nowhere after seeing him finish the shield: *"HEY!"*
Dude with shield: *turns around*
Same someone: *pulls out pistol and begins shooting at shield*
Dude protects himself with the shield.
Someone: "Yeah, that'll do nicely." *Heads back inside*
Just so happens to be a british woman as well.
John walker has entered the chat
Really this is tha real worthy shield before I never seen
How does Walker do this with a grinder and a hammer ?
John Walker: *Interesting*
Oh ok yeah let me just go buy all that machinery to make myself a shield, hold my beer I’ll be right back!
Looks awesome!
When you have an endless supply of Vibranium in your basement.
Not y’all tho, stay safe.

His shield would be hard and heavier. Most low carbon steel 1/8" thick 2' diameter bent disks like that would weigh between 14 and 17 lbs. But his will be much stronger!
John Walker:" Ohhh thats how you do it "
What is the machine that you used to spin the metal?
I believe it is called a Lathe
John walker be like: 👀
John Walker: *takes notes*
Great job! What’s the thickness?
yeah I would like to know as well
His shield looks to be about the same as most replicas, which is 1/8"
John walker: *happy US Agent noises*
That’s a nice shield
Thats cool and all, but I’m just wondering what kinda paint Cap used for the shield. That shit didn’t even fade away for over 70 years, even in the ice
Fading is usually caused by sunlight. There isn’t a lot of sunlight under 50 feet of ice
Why didn't u use leather for the other handler?
This is the best process I've seen by far,
but can it survive on a gun range?
Can you use titanium or a more durable metal on that machine?
Try tungsten (strongest metal on earth)
@@JTKing7174 Tungsten would be extremely heavy. Better to use Titanium. Strong and light
@@jeremylakenes6859 oh ok
@@JTKing7174 I use Tungsten bucking bars for riveting. They are at least 3 times heavier than steel. Would be super tough though.
@@jeremylakenes6859 That’s to even say you can get tungsten in a sheet like that, (or even in sheet form alone). Tungsten would shatter.
I’m gonna make one of those and spray paint the blue and white black
US Agent pog
Man you could make some some good money selling that!
I have a theory if you try to mix titanium metal and magnesium metal in a shield, it should be bullet proof or more so.
You can never actually mic the two metals. You can make am alloy out of it
Well more like layer up in a way, I don't know that much when I wrote the comment. That and I think I should have worded better. My bad.
It’s sheer beauty.
It's more shining than the shield from the movies 😯
I mean, it's looking better than John's one
This shield is better then movie shield
This is what John Walker searched
well now we know how john walker did his shield
Extended clip of John walker making the shield
this is sick
is there an easier way of making metal shield?
Forge
what is the name of the industry. because I would like one too.
How heavy might it be?
There might be no question about how to make Captain America shield if everyone have this equipments.. You must've give this video a tittle like making my own Captain America shield...
So John Walker learned through here to make the shield 🤔 insteresting...
John Walker: (psychopathically) I. AM. CAPTAIN AMERICA.
Better than hawkeye and walkers shieleds.
Hawkeye's shield was quick sliver
This will definitely take care of all the left over steel I have.
And that random lathe I have lying around
Does it bounce off the walls?
Yeah it just doesn't go far after the bounce
What's it made of?? I wanna Know it because I will make one too and I think that metal is so strong
did you had the permission of the original Brazilian channel of gabriel manfredi ?
I swear its better than Walker's home made shield.
Is it bullet proof
I can make this I just can figure out how to curve the metal and I don’t have that huge machine
SyrupThegamer 101 then u can’t make it?
Dark_Whispa adulation I can
I figured out a way... it’s a little difficult. But I know how to work with metal
SyrupThegamer 101 how?
The Australia chaser three methods. One with a hammer. 2 heat it up until it bends over a round surface (doesn’t always work) and the 3 takes to long to explain and would probably take a couple of hours to do. I will use option 2 or 3
I'm kinda disappointed he didn't throw it Cause when Captain America throws his mighty shield all those who choose to oppose his shield must yield 😂👍🏾
What is the machine in the beginning of the video called?
Hello How To Make Stuff. What did you use to make this shield what diameter and what thickness was the material? Please let me know. Thanks! And great shield!
It is a stainless steel 304, with 3mm thickness. I unknown the diameter

Good Job! But Steve handles were made out of leather
Steel is the 2d strongest metal on earth so it's great
Next sheild with the no 1 hardest metal Tungsten
the problem is that tungsten shatters easily, so even tho it's really hard a bullet would break the whole thing apart if you're going for the closest replica you can get
There are 4 different scales for strength. For a shield you would want a metal with a high impact strength like Titanium
