Zach McGowan seems like an awesome dude. I hope he gets to be in a lot more shows and movies. That would rock if he and Travis Fimmel got to do something together.
Yeah, he was pretty much for Black Sails what Fimmel was for Vikings. I remember trying to pitch the show to a friend who loved Vikings and when I told him about Vane I described him as “Think if Ragnar and Rollo were merged into one in the 1700s”. He immediately started watching.
Greatest Portrayal of a Pirate I've ever seen, at first I Did not care for Charles Vane , by the end of the series I hated the fact they killed off my favorite Actor!!!!!!!I watch all three seasons in a week,lol
Same here, but I didn't hate the face that they killed him, because that scene was so fantastic! In the end everything dies, nothing lives forever. But that character, they did such an amazing thing there. That death scene was TOP moment for that story!
Same here, he very quickly morphed from pirate villain to pirate hero to me, he’s definitely my favorite! I had to skip over his hanging and come back to it later after I prepared myself. 😥😥😥
I was so fucking invested with Charles Vane and Eleanor's story, hoping that they would have a happy ending. BUT NOT! And now I have this mission to read and watch all those stories with a happy ending. They just broke my heart :(
Zach needs to be in more stuff. Roan and Vane became my favorite characters within minutes of seeing them and his vibe is humble and cool. I wanted him to be the Witcher so badly but hope we can see him in more.
I find it extremely funny that he was all into the Breaking Bad series when for the last half of the show I coulda sworn these were so similar in some ways that they were almost parallel. Like Cpt Flint was Walter White, who had this complicated partnership turned friendship with his Jesse, or Mr. Silver.
