Lockdown for the Chickcozy Incubator Trial

Today is the third in a series for this Chickcozy incubator. I started out with a box opening and next was setting the eggs for day 1. This is day 18 which is lockdown day. For this we need to do a series of things before we set all eggs for hatching. Day 1 is pretty easy. Day 18 requires a number of things so it is best to watch in full.

I am using the same kind incubator. Wednesday will be day 21 for me. I have one that is hatching and a couple of more starting.

I’m very impressed with this incubator. Everything stays stable as far as temperature and humidity. My hatch rate should be good. The Olive eggs are hard to candle so I’ll be happy with 80%. Hope you do well.

Someone gave me these eggs. I only have 15 in there. I had 8 to hatch. The rest stopped growing for some reason.

We ended up with 19 out of 23. Not bad considering I couldn’t candle 80% of the eggs.

what % hatchrate do you get with this set up? (how many times have you done it+taken data)

This is the first trial. I don’t have that information yet. This is a brand new incubator on the market I was given the chance to try out.

@@Staygoldfarms cool. I get about 60%-70% for the last 12 hatches. ($70 random amazon auto turner)
