Been there, done that. Driving a fully loaded cement mixer off-road, dry ground weighing 80,000 lbs. It took 2 heavy-lift tow trucks with ALL 3 vehicles axles locked down, all wheels getting power, low-low gear. Took an hour to get me to the job site; 10 min to unload. Got back to the yard unassisted. Each tow truck cost the company $1500. The cost was charged back to the contractor because he failed to provide suitable access to the job, per terms of the contract. Took me 8 hrs to deliver 2 loads. The next day there was a nice, elevated road made of 3” limestone.😊 A temporary road is much cheaper than specialized tow trucks. Lazy & cheap = loss of income / revenue.
