Yes we can find Diameter from Girth i.e. (D=G/pi) or girth divided by 3.142 you will get D.B.H
Does the calliper measures dbh or gbh??
DBH.
You can measure gbh with a measuring tape, or calculate it using the diameter.

Hello, Sir. Can we take data of trees without making plots for practical or is it compulsory to make certain plots (eg. 10x10m²)?
If inventory practical or if enumeration type of practical via sampling is being done then quadrats (plots) as per the intensity is required.
