I don't know if I feel comfortable with these "touch front screen to activate the keypad" and "press the random number that appear" steps. Not very clever. Couldn't be a motion or presence sensor to activate it instead? How long does the battery last?

having a sensor always looking for movements takes a lot of energy, i.e. battery.
