I first met Rachel sitting at my kitchen table, she was 17. My son was her best friend. I watched her grow into the person you came to know. She was like a daughter to my wife and I. We would do our best to meet up for a dinner whenever she was in town and had some free time. She was very busy most of the time and we cherished the times that we had with her. I was shocked to hear that she passed and still am today. I haven’t really processed it yet, my mind can’t seem to get around how someone so full of live is gone. Am I selfish to wonder who’s going to laugh at my stupid dad jokes now? She will never be forgotten in this house or in our hearts.
If i'm being honest, I can't say I've ever met someone that even has a youtube channel. So it's interesting how it made me happy to see people in this world like Randy and Rachel. They gave me someone, something, to look up to and a life I know I want to create of my own. Keep up the good work, and never forget to spread joy.

I was one of the few people that got to meet and know Rachel. I came across this video through some reading. Rachel and I became friends when she had just got out of high school. It was the start of her living life how she wanted, trying new things and adventures. We both worked at a tattoo shop in Chicago: she was a piercing apprentice, I was a shop helper. I had a big crush on her, but she wasn't really into girls. We still hung out, I did her hair when I was working in salons, went shopping, attended a tattoo convention together in Texas. I hadn't seen her in person since she divorced Shannon. She turned into an incredible woman, and left a legacy for many. I miss her. I'm sorry you lost a friend, too.
Imagine losing mom dad and sis in the matter of 5 years. Dad wasnt shit then 2 uncles that were like dads in 5 of those 6 years. I get the hurt. But now its time to do what needs to be done. As I have been married 8 years last month 2 babies and I always think how did I live my life today. Yet much less money in my life but enough to make me happy. These videos make me smile at the end of the day.
