As one of the few who saw both Midnight and Todd front CG, Todd could do the Midnight vocals about as well as one could imagine. Nobody was Midnight, but by God Todd brought those chilling lines to life almost like Midnight
He was incredible in Crimson Glory and I say that as a huge Midnight fan, he really was that one guy who could have kept them going without fans saying "yeah, no, this doesn't work".
I saw Queensryche with La Torre and was impressed; he definitely made me wish I had gotten the chance to see him with Crimson Glory. Midnight is probably more difficult to do justice to, as he is all over the place in terms of tone and style and has those lengthy, high-placed vocal lines, but this guy earns my respect for putting a ton of effort into doing so.
@FatalPies but were not talking about tate. We're talking about Todd and he's amazing. Yes Tate was amazing. But so is Todd. In his own right. I rather have Crimson Glory and Queensryche with Todd than none at all.
Todd has the most powerful, beautiful voice. God broke the mold. So talented

I agree. Not seen midight live but what I've seen on video confirms what you say sir. He sounded like a god on record and more human on stage.
