Bro, What is the resolution of your monitor and how mac rescaling works. I can see by default it will be scaled to 1080p and you selected 1440p. Apple gives a message “scaling affects performance” basically only by using default scaling settings (1080p) you can avoid that message. Can you R&D the scaling settings in mac and do the video to choose the right monitor to enjoy the crystal clear experience.
Regarding power button -> you need to fit this mac mini under the table which means the apple logo side has stick with table. Now you can access the power button effortlessly and for cable management under the table setup is great! Hope you got the design behind this button!

Write speed on M4 512GB and M4 256GB variants differ just because of the number of NAND chips used. In 256GB variant if they have used 2 128GB NAND chips, you could have achieved the same speed. Only benchmark tests usually targets writing to both disks. But for usual file handling, file/s gets stored in one of the disk avoiding fragmentation. So no performance difference between the two variants ideally. Tests clearly shows one thing, Apple hardly made any significant performance upgrades in disk/NAND performance post ARM series
