I don't know if they work with the V8 but seems like I recall a kit that was used with the V6 engines that replaced the pump gears with taller ones to help make more pressure,it comes with a spacer plate so they will all go together correctly, might be worth checking into.

Yup already got the plate ordered, just going with stock replacement gears though…

@@ABANDONEDCARREVIVALSthat thing works great. My buddy had one in his 84 regal. Those 68 heads have small ports and unusual rocker shafts.
