A Keef Hartley box set of his complete works has been released and the reviewer claims that this is not on there because Keef's manager forbade him being filmed....or even recorded!!! Well obviously he was!!
I'm just realisizing how much hearing this music as a 15yr old has influenced the music I make to this day ( not 15 anymore ). Had the good fortune to see the Little Band live c1970 if my memory serves me right (not guaranteed ! ) Edit ...the music I make now sounds different, but it's in there !
This is perfect: Real old sound vibes. I'm gonna remaster it in order to get a STUDIO and live versions of it using the usual software. Hope to upload it without issues with TH-cam. Ah¡ ... also there will be an edited version ... only songs ... and short breaks between songs ....

Thank you for this gem. It is so well recorded I have to wonder if it is 1969. Keef is a GREAT drummer but I wonder sometimes why it is not the Miller Anderson band. He does the vocals and wah-wah, isn’t that enough to get a band named after you?

So long awaited stuff! One of the best sets of the festival. Hidden for so long. I'm glad I lived long enough to experience it all!

Are you saying they had planned to start with a slow number? Because this doesn't sound like a slow number to start going by this.
Shame their not even listed as performers at Woodstock on the on site tribute monument.

Honestly, one of the Woodstock's greatest performances. And that's a gigantic feat, because the bar of competence was very high in those days.

Not at this point. Miller Anderson was in the band at this time.
