Me and my twin sister were 17 in 1979. We would drive around at night and listen to this show. It brings back such great memories. My sister has been gone since 2007. I'll always remember those days. Rest in peace Sis.

That’s beautiful. Thank you for sharing this. I’m 19 and love listening to this show. It transports me to another world. I love thinking of the people before me who listened to these shows too. I’ll always think of your story now. Rest in peace ❤️

I was 17 in 1979 as well, and I, too have a twin. We are both still of this world. I was away in boot camp in ‘79 and he told me that listening to the CBSRMT just wasn’t the same without me; 40 plus years later, I will drive the 200 miles just to sit with him to listen to this program. I am touched by your love for your twin.

I know. I listen to Radio Mystery Theater and classic old fashioned radio shows similar to CBS RMT when I do chores, and sometimes when I finish my chores (washing kitchen floor & etc) I wish I had more chores so I could listen to the radio shows!!!!

Nothing better than old time radio or even modern radio drama... There's a reason they call it the "Theater of the Mind"...

I was 17 in 1979, but we didn’t get US radio in the UK. We did get Dallas, Starsky & Hutch, Cannon, Ironside, Star Trek, Dukes of Hazard, Mission Impossible, Colombo and the list goes on. After living in the US since 1983, I can understand how different countries are perceived by their TV shows.

With his girl's voice and attitude and intahhhhhhhlect ... I'm surprised he isn't on best terms with the hole in the sky -- just to get away from her!

I was excited... for a few seconds. They were so close to saying, "self rule". But then went to the default position of authoritarians... a small group of ruling elites.
