Making a Spring Pole Lathe.

I decided to make my own pole lathe out of recycled timber.

Nice pole lathe design, good work. If you use longer hazel poles plus about one foot of bungee cord, vertically connected between the end of the string/starter cord and the loop where it meets the horizontal bungee, you'll get loads more rotations per foot press = longer cuts, longer shavings, more efficiency.
