I choose my bias based on who I'd most like to hang out with. For me, that's Jisoo, because she's smart and has an amazing sense of humor. Plus she's very laid back when it comes to fame and haters, etc. Having a bias doesn't mean that I appreciate any of the others less - they're all great, and without any of them, it wouldn't be Blackpink.
When I was still new and feeling out BlackPink, Jisoo was my least favorite and I was even thinking if deserves to be in the group. But when I heard this song especially when she sang the "blunt" part.. I was just oh man.. I see it now. There's no weakest link in the group all BIAS wreckers.
You're absolutely right on about Jisoo's English vocals, it's so firggin cute to hear. There's another thing too, both Jisoo and Jennie have such youthful faces that certain camera angles can make them look like their 12 years old. That's the case in this performance with Jisoo.

I’m an Ot4 but the reason I found out about BP is through Jennie, I saw her picture once in Facebook and I was curious where she was from because of her cheeks 😅 and when I learned more about BP I saw myself in Jennie we have the same personality and she is the most relatable as a person. And she is sooo Strong after all the hate she received she is still standing. But the 4 have different personalities and vibes so it depends upon each person’s preferences. Or also depends upon our mood our biases will change but stil OT4 this girls are meant to be together 🥰
Great insight on the 4 with the 2 dynamic duo pairs, they definitely have that ability to combine as pairs to enhance their sound in ways that other groups cannot quite seem to achieve. The Chemistry of Blackpink is very different from other kpop or any other groups that I can think of. Like some of the others mentioned Jisoo is definitely the one I would like to hang out with, but having each one be a bias wrecker is true for me. As much as Miguel deserves praises for this song, if I'm being 100, this cover better than the original by far. They literally burned the stage while sitting on a stool... Jisoo's voice sounds like the taste of your favorite wine or Scotch, it's bliss in a bottle. It just wraps you all around. Rosé got that voice... You know that voice so unique yet so familiar... Like her voice makes you feel at home and yet feels like travelling. Jennie... She is so smooth yet commanding. A great voice but an amazing technique. Lisa is simply a paradox in everything, beautiful singing voice, yet "ghetto" rap voice which is an absolute plus. Swag like crazy and big boss energy but just a big dork and cutie off stage. It may be down to the calm confidence Jisoo exudes. Personally, I don't have a 'bias', as all the ladies bring something different to their performances. This means that any slight preference will move with the circumstances.
For me, choosing my bias went very unnoticed and fast... I learned about the group after ROSÉ's covers on the show "Sea of Hope". I literally fell in love with her awesome voice... Then I began to watch videos that revealed the personal qualities of each BlackPink's members and fell in love with ROSÉ even more (again🤣🤣🤣)... People tend to compare idols. It may not be "right", but people do it... especially, fans of different fandoms wanting to prove their favorite idols are the best. As an unaffiliated observer, I've noticed that Kpop fans can get a bit crazy and unreasonable at times, but it is what it is... unreasonable crazy fans comes with the territory of Kpop. With that being said, I don't think an objective/reasonable person would ever agree that Blackpink literally can't sing, but rather they can recognize that Blackpink are NOT the most vocally talented idols in Kpop... AND, there is nothing wrong with that; it's OKAY to not be the most vocally talented idols in Kpop. Blackpink is a great group that excels at what they might be the best in Kpop at: "marketability"... and that is nothing to be scoffed at, they are the most successful female group in Kpop history. However, when it comes to strictly vocal talent, there are definitive objective measures that can be used to determine if one person is more vocally talented than another. This is just a fact. Vocal tone, stability, range, colors, etc. Most, if not all, Kpop idols are "technically" good singers because they have had years of vocal coaching and training, but there are some idols who are just naturally more "gifted" than other singers and it's not a knock on the less gifted singers, but it's just an undeniable fact. Personally, my measure of determining whether an idol is a GREAT singer is if I can reasonably believe that the singer(s) could perform vocally demanding songs of another group, and how well they could do it. I used to use Mamamoo as the measuring stick in determining if other female idols were great singers (Mamamoo is generally recognized as one of the best vocal groups in the Kpop industry by celebrities and other idols), but recently I have changed the measuring stick to BIG MAMA because even as GREAT of a singing group as Mamamoo is, I struggle to honestly and reasonably believe that Mamamoo could pull off BIG MAMA songs as good or better than BIG MAMA... compare for yourself: Mamamoo - Killing Voice: th-cam.com/video/WvkTcNQsxzc/w-d-xo.html BIG MAMA - Killing Voice: th-cam.com/video/OsRogAzmsF8/w-d-xo.html If you can picture your favorite female idol singing BIG MAMA songs as good as BIG MAMA... then, they CAN sing. This is why BIG MAMA was never even remotely close to being as successful as Blackpink is right now.

For me, choosing my bias went very unnoticed and fast... I learned about the group after ROSÉ's covers on the show "Sea of Hope". I literally fell in love with her awesome voice... Then I began to watch videos that revealed the personal qualities of each BlackPink's members and fell in love with ROSÉ even more (again🤣🤣🤣)... Anw all the girls are perfect and it's definitely hard to me choose one of them to be my bias wrecker... Sorry for my English 😅

People tend to compare idols. It may not be "right", but people do it... especially, fans of different fandoms wanting to prove their favorite idols are the best. As an unaffiliated observer, I've noticed that Kpop fans can get a bit crazy and unreasonable at times, but it is what it is... unreasonable crazy fans comes with the territory of Kpop.
With that being said, I don't think an objective/reasonable person would ever agree that Blackpink literally can't sing, but rather they can recognize that Blackpink are NOT the most vocally talented idols in Kpop... AND, there is nothing wrong with that; it's OKAY to not be the most vocally talented idols in Kpop. Blackpink is a great group that excels at what they might be the best in Kpop at: "marketability"... and that is nothing to be scoffed at, they are the most successful female group in Kpop history.
However, when it comes to strictly vocal talent, there are definitive objective measures that can be used to determine if one person is more vocally talented than another. This is just a fact. Vocal tone, stability, range, colors, etc. Most, if not all, Kpop idols are "technically" good singers because they have had years of vocal coaching and training, but there are some idols who are just naturally more "gifted" than other singers and it's not a knock on the less gifted singers, but it's just an undeniable fact.
Personally, my measure of determining whether an idol is a GREAT singer is if I can reasonably believe that the singer(s) could perform vocally demanding songs of another group, and how well they could do it. I used to use Mamamoo as the measuring stick in determining if other female idols were great singers (Mamamoo is generally recognized as one of the best vocal groups in the Kpop industry by celebrities and other idols), but recently I have changed the measuring stick to BIG MAMA because even as GREAT of a singing group as Mamamoo is, I struggle to honestly and reasonably believe that Mamamoo could pull off BIG MAMA songs as good or better than BIG MAMA... compare for yourself:

If you can picture your favorite female idol singing BIG MAMA songs as good as BIG MAMA... then, they CAN sing. If you can't... then it's not that they aren't good singers, but they "can't" sing. Again, it's okay if they "can't" sing because Kpop isn't defined just by singing. This is why BIG MAMA was never even remotely close to being as successful as Blackpink is right now.
I definitely think there are groups that are better vocally than BlackPink but they are still solid and make up for the distance with their starpower and worldwide charisma! I agree with what you are saying though!
