Extra tip...the Jekyll Island Authority puts on the Shrimp & Grits festival in November (usually the first weekend). Great food, arts, crafts, and entertainment. It used to be three days over a weekend, for some reason this year it was only 2 days (which was disappointing) but still fun.
If you had gone inside Faith Chapel, you could've seen a very large and beautiful Tiffany stained glass window. Also worth visiting is the sea turtle center. The Georgia Sea Turtle Center is a nature center and rescue and rehabilitation facility for sea turtles on Jekyll Island. The waters off the southern tip around St. Andrews beach aren't normally muddy. I don't visit Jekyll as often as I used to since they raised the entrance fee to $10, tacking on another $5 on event days.
Thanks! All great tips!! Thanks for watching and for leaving a comment! (ps if you like Jekyll Island we just returned from Amelia Island. Nice place. Videos in January!)
Hi Kris! We agree, it is a really nice Island to visit. But, we just returned from Bald Head Island in NC and that is our new favorite! (shown in our next 2 videos). If you have never been to Bald Head, check it out too! Thanks for watching!

Super cool tour, had no clue that about those well known super rich having connections and homes there. Very interesting. Always wanted to go check out Jekyll Island, so I enjoyed the tour! I love all the trees there, looks like some fun shopping to do and a gorgeous place to go enjoy the beach and walking! 8 dollars is a bargain!
