You can have a better version of any composion, but nothing replaces the "creator" for anything. I agree that Tina's song sounds better, but listen the person that wrote the song is amazing. Thank you Paul Brady to write this beautiful song.

no way, this is one of these exceptions where the cover is better than the original. tina turner's voice has just much more range than the voice of paul brady. she owns this song, her voice fits perfectly.

I disagree. Tina has a very poor range. That's not where her talents lay. She is a power performer and should be appreciated as such, but singer she never was, unlike Paul.

I always thought it strange that tina did this song. the verses don't sound quite right with her voice, but she does the two choruses really well. but Tina does actually have one of the largest vocal ranges of any female singers. She's known for it actually. Cher's version of this is also great

His version is okay. Cher version is terrible. Tina's version has more passion and you can feel it through your body especially if you hear her sing it live. Tina has the best version
