Well, all my tempos are coming from my direct work at the opera house with conductors and singers. My last Cenerentola was Vasilisa Berzhanskaya (she get's really famous right now) and she was singing it even faster some performances. I like it.
Thank you! I just discovered your channel. What you do is great fun and extremely useful for studying at home! I particularly love the way you give us the entrance cues and some lyrics... You're much more like a conductor during a rehearsal than like a pocket accompanying pianist ;-)

It's not rushed - but virtuos. I did it with Vassilisa Berzhanskaya - she ist one of the best Cenerentola's at the moment, so I was used to this tempo, it worked so well
Thank you for your coment! I do appreciate your work, channel and your virtuosity! I do understand it IS tricky to satisfy everybody's needs here, I just wished there would be more space for personal interpretation especially in cadenza places ;)
@@berzubirze I totally understand it - it is very personal. Especially in Rossini and belcanto style. But it's possible to make 95% speed for a video in the settings, maybe helps. Anyway, it's not possible to make an interpretation which is good for everybody - so I only can do an example of my personal taste or experience. Maybe it would be an idea for the future to record 2-3 interpretations of the same piece like this - but for that I probably would offer a channel membership.
I like when you mimic like if the vocal would be there. But this music is insipid without a soprano. Next time ask one of your friend to sing and show off this wonderful coloratura.

I have to agree that while your playing is superlative, most of your tempis are too fast...

Great play!but is too fast
Tempo is a very individual thing. We just did a big production of Cenerentola, and our mezzo did it this tempo :-)
PocketPianist in all your videos is it too fast
