great video. i just purchased one of these myself. finished building it last week and fabricated my own cart over the weekend. think i went a little overkill on my cart lol. but i can't wait to use this thing. also, that a yamaha mt i see in the background?
Yeah I have some stuff in the works, have another die as well now. I'm still getting some practice and learning on small projects but will have a full cage build at some point.
I bought the last one available in my entire state, and had to drive 7 hours to get it. I think HF is revamping their rams and it looks like the new ones are black. Not sure how soon the "new" 8 ton air/hydraulic will be available though or if its dimensions will be any different. You can try to order a ram from Northern Tool or one directly from Rogue Fab, they are usually backordered but will still let you buy one. Or try one from Amazon. Unfortunately it's been a bad couple of years for getting one of these.
Still need to buy some tube! Probably going to just wait till I get my other die and practice on much cheaper 1" HREW instead of ruining 1.75" DOM lol.
👍this is one item I would like to have also . I've looked at them and done little research. Appreciate you sharing the experience and info . How much did the setup cost you if you don't mind sharing? I'll watch your future videos on it , maybe you can help teach me something on it .

Where did you find the Pittsburg air /hydraulic ram? I recently ordered a 605 and didn’t realize the HF rams aren’t available anywhere

I spread the cost out over several months but its probably somewhere around 2k total. That includes the ram, cart, extra parts, paint, etc.
What gauge metal is the shelves and bottom supports on the cart?

What air compressor do you use with the bender?
Kobalt 26 gallon. It's slow but it does work. Plan to replace it with a 60 or 80 one day when I have the space.
I like your welding table. Didyou get that at harbor freight? Looks kind of like theirs
