This is really cool. I love how she approaches this subject. I think Gather round did a great job tackling all of the different disciplines within the science realm.
@@HomeSweetHomeschoolLife I like you show us the whole books in your videos and don't waste time talking about blah blah blah like some people do! Sometimes people talk too much about their families, their routine, etc. in their flip through videos, meanwhile, all we really want to know is what is inside the book. Thanks.
Thank you for such a wonderful flip through! I really appreciated how you showed the entire student notebook to really give us a look at what's included. I also want to mention that I love the binding on this unit. I am not planning on printing ours, but rather just using them on the iPad. It does look really nice, though! I like that the coils aren't so large, it makes it look really well done and neatly put together! Beautiful job!
We looking at doing this unit. We onli do early handwriting as we don’t care bout handwriting. we love the vocabularies in THTB science so it’s awesome to see these!!!
I am looking at this for my daughter to substitute the section on the human body in the curriculum we are using to change things a bit. Do you think its ok to skip some things ?
You can use it however you like. It is intended for 4 days a week for 5 weeks, but I have used it a variety of ways. A lot of people do one lesson for two days and some do 1 lesson and stretch it out over a week. As far as how many to complete in a year, the average is around 5-6.
@@HomeSweetHomeschoolLife Thank you. 😊 It helps if I have a goal. LOL We've used it as a supplement but I'm considering a semester of just Gather Round.
The lessons are longer than the Northern Birds unit, so that threw me off and a lot of it went over my pre readers head and even my early elementary who’s 9. I have to recap and summarize so I don’t loose them. I wonder if it’s just me? Idk, it’s only our second unit from Rebecca so I’m still rolling with it.

This unit study is BEAUTIFUL! Wow! 😍
I am always amazed at the artwork.
The artwork in this curriculum is breathtaking.
It really is!

I can't wait to start human body! They just keep getting better!😍
I just want to do them all. There just isn’t enough time.

Thank you so much! I know when I want to see inside curriculum, I like to see the whole thing.
I LOVE the idea of taking some of the copywork words and doing cursive with them!
Easy and simple way to incorporate cursive.
Every time she comes out with a new one it just looks more and more beautiful!
I always say that they get better and better.
Home Sweet Homeschool Makes total sense.
Thanks for spilling the tea, this looks like a really well made curriculum book, it's even pretty!
The artwork is stunning!
Great flip through!
Thank you!
Love this flip through! I’m so excited for next school year to be able to put all of these beautiful units to use! 🤗
Thank you so much!
What a beautiful curriculum.
This one looks amazing!
It is. I have been reading through the teacher’s guide.

It is a really good unit. It is packed full of information. We used lots of videos to go along with it.
I love your flip throughs. They are so good.
Thank you so much!
This was a great flip through.
Thanks!
This looks amazing! Does she do the illustrations? They are absolutely incredible!
I believe she has a team of people that help with the illustrations.
The pics are beautiful!
I love the artwork in all the units.
@@HomeSweetHomeschoolLife I just ordered the pre reader lessons!
This is so detailed!
Thank you for your video. Could this curriculum be altered for secular homeschool easily?
Yes, I think it could. You could skip the Bible pages.
I am looking at this for my daughter to substitute the section on the human body in the curriculum we are using to change things a bit. Do you think its ok to skip some things ?
I think you could skip over some things. You could go through it and pick and choose what you cover.
I haven’t try this one yet, does it work for an only child ? Love the way it looks.
Yes, I have an only child and we have been using Gather Round for over a year now.
What weight paper did you use for student notebooks? Thanks, Shell
Sorry, I just heard the answer.
That’s okay. Thanks for watching.
About how many weeks did it take you to complete it?
We did it 4 days a week so it took us 5 weeks.
Is one lesson per day or per week? Does it matter? Is there a particular amount of units we should complete per year?

I try to read just a little at a time, then have my son narrate back to me.
