I Will Not Die, But Live

Have you deviated from the path of God in pursuit of self? If we don’t get the self-focus out of our heart, we will begin to create another Christ that will accommodate our selfish pursuit and we will end up in a dry place. Today, if you have this cry in your heart, “God come and speak to us, we are dry and we have lost our confidence and our joy is almost gone.”
God’s answer to you is, “Hear the Word of the Lord.” God desires to give you a power source that is not your own. He will bring you up out of every place where death has reigned.

Il say to you the same thing i said to Daniel Rebecca....a tree is recognized by its fruits...your fruit is malice....you seek to incite anger through your tone, name calling and slanderous banter.. I'm pretty sure God is the only who knows the heart of man, and Jesus is the only one to judge and he will.. you , me, and the guy up the street will all stand before him and recieve according to our judgements. We are to love our neighbors... and even greater than that we are to love our enemies... boy, that sure is a tough one isnt it?
You call yourself "friend" of God? He is not my "Friend".....i am a son and he my father...i address him as "Father" and give him the "fear" (reverence) that he deserves.
My honest opinion is that you are not born again.....because if the holy spirt in-dwelt you, i do not believe you would continue to go around inciting people to anger and trying to get a rise....
I have a working relationship with God...and he clearly chastises me when i do things of my own accord apart from him....i just dont think he is doing the same for you or you would recognize that this type of behavior is a sin.

Daniel Rebecca oh boy , I awoke you again... Perhaps bad choice of words.. A judge decides sentence or rewards, in the case of marriage a judge disperses judgments both good and bad which is what I meant.

As people wait for bible times to happen I feel we're already living such. Living best we can. Yes Carter I'd much prefer to be a blessing in the lives of all I meet. Rather than how much is now turned back to front and Christians across the world are refusing to give up their faith and being treated badly or even murdered. May Christ keep us all strong and smiling along the way esp through tough times. I heard the many praying to end of your sermon. Ace! Of hearts. :) Thankyou one and all at Times Square!

@Daniel Rebecca: This is a great discussion that you have started. Hebrews 5:14 tells us that in order for us to be able to discern good and evil, we have to be able to move beyond the basic tenants of the faith. One important way to do this is to grow stronger in the word, and based off my understanding of your comments, that's what you're ultimately trying to get people to do. The point you are making if I'm not mistaken is that we are saved by grace and not repentance. Ephesians 2:8-9 tells us exactly this. "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works lest anyone should boast."
Unfortunately, there is a movement out there that takes this gift of grace and uses it as a way to justify sinfulness. In other words, if I have this gift, I don't have to live any differently and I can still gain the promise of eternal life. So, let's dissect the word repent and see what we get. The word repent can be associated with changing our minds. In other words, it's not just a change in action but a change inside oneself. This is similar to what Hebrews 3 says when it talks about the sinful unbelieving HEART. The heart must change first. Once the heart changes, we will now want what God wants instead of what we want. Therefore, we will want to do what God wants us to do rather than what we want to do. 1 Peter 4:13-16 reiterates Leviticus 11:44 "Be holy for I am holy." In other words, Peter confirms also that we are to live differently (holy or set apart) than we did before we were saved.
Now I recognize in the scriptures above the word repent is not used. Let's turn to Revelation 2 and 3. Most people would agree that these two chapters are good to help us evaluate our churches today, whether good or bad. My question here is, what topic is discussed here more than any other topic? It would be repentance. It is discussed six different times in these two chapters, edging out discernment and perseverance, which round out the top 3. Furthermore, these are Jesus' words that are being told to the seven churches. So, in fact, Jesus here is preaching repentance to the church.
Daniel, I am not going to call you names. I am not going to make you feel bad for what you believe, even if I disagree with it. Believe it or not this is the first time I've ever commented on a video because if it's not something I'd say to someone in person, then it's not worth writing on here. I'm not even going to ask you to change your mind or to stop telling others to change theirs. That's between you and God, as my comments are between myself and God. In fact, in some way I'm encouraged that you are on here asking others to search the scriptures, because a lot of people aren't willing to these days. It is my hope that you found these comments helpful and thought provoking. I happen to love Pastor Conlon's teachings and wish there were more like him out there because based on my own personal study, teaching on this matter is incredibly lacking. However, I also have many friends who believe just like you do. May the Lord bless you as you continue to search the scriptures because all in all, God's Word does not come back void (Isaiah 55:11).
Also, for the record, I am just as sinful as anyone else in the world. I have trampled on God's law, but thank God for the grace I have received in Jesus Christ. Again, while it never mentions repentance, Paul commands the Roman church members to offer themselves up as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God (Romans 12:1). Again, while the word repent is not here, the implication is their lives should be different than those who are unbelievers. That is the life I strive to have, not by might, nor by power, but by the Holy Spirit (Zechariah 4:6).

The Pharisees were often always present in the days of Jesus. As they listened to him preach their only interest was to trip him up or to find something to use against him. Jesus fully pleased the Father while many of those Pharisees went to hell. Their vendetta against the son of God was so great it cost them eternal life.
There is one such nay sayer who is always on TSC sermons with a vendetta to discredit a man of God masquerading that he seeks to expose a false prophet. What beats me is that he has so much time on his hands listening to the *false prophet*! Doesn't scripture say we should avoid them?
Please don't engage this individual Proverbs 26:4-5 aptly puts it this way: "Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you yourself will be just like him. Answer a fool according to his folly, & he will be wise in his own eyes." Let the rest of us listen, be blessed and challenged to live victoriously in Christ Jesus.
