Those titanium scales look slick with the 940! I love the green with it too and would totally buy colored barrel spacers or thumb studs if Benchmade sold them. I love how you can make knives more personal and unique with the different scales and colored accessories.

Got my doug Ritter today feels better in hand than I thought great action and centering out of box very happy makes my old s30v Doug Ritter in FRN by Benchmade feel like a toy.Id blue out the thumb studs pocket clip and barrel spacers all in blued titanium
DieselDabz710 I have the hogue EX-05 and there microswitch love them both but the microswitch is here to stay but the EX-05’s handles is great for alout of work the handle isn’t setup for comfort but for self defense and was made for a great grip instead of comfort like the microswitch I s live to trade it for the ex03 or 4 that have downgraded steel with 154cm instead of the EX-05 which comes in cpm154 which is why I picked it but I’d rather have a comfortable handle and 154cm steel rather than the EX-05’s uncomfortable handle in cpm154 . I do think if your always fighting with your knife the EX-05 would be great but for the rest of humanity a comfortable handle with good fit and finish in 154cm would be the way I wish I went. Oh yeah I agree Hogue has been killing it straight out of the gate and I’m happy when Benchmade threw doug Ritter and all the good work he does to the curb that Another more pro American great company like Hogue picked up where Benchmade left off. I own 2 doug Ritter knives from Benchmade and Hogue’s version is much better in steel fit and finish action steel plus an even better axis lock. I like Benchmade and it’s sad to see the way they have been running there buisness the last 2 yrs is horrible maybe they should stop making knives and become anti weapon social justice warriors instead.

I just ordered some titanium scales for mine! Going to send my knife to benchmade to get it maintained before voiding my warranty haha. Titanium looks nice and wears nice too so it's just a win win. And it's light and strong!
If I were inclined to buy titanium scales, I’d look for a titanium pocket clip and matching standoffs. So far, all I have done with my 940s is add the Benchmade deep carry pocket clip. I am not in the market to buy different color parts from anyone, but I don’t fault people who like to accessorize.

wanted to get flytanium scales because I love their shredded carbon scales for the bugout, but these look better than the flytanium scales for the 940. The flytaniun ones are too flat/plain

I do wish Benchmade had plain silver barrel spacers. Also, I absolutely love the 940, but the original aluminum scale version should have a much better steel for it's $190-$200 price tag. 20CV with the option of dlc coated blade would be perfect at that price point.

There's tons of companies making colored Ti thumb studs, clips, screws. All in plain Ti or colors.
I'm using the mini one from the Bugout on my 940-1501 and really liking it.
Thinking this may be a great option!

Hogue's knives are definitely a step above the Benchmade Griptilian's. He fixed ALL the flaws found in those cheap Benchies..

The barrel spacers do not fit on the original aluminum 940’s. Due to the spine not being fully cut out.
