They fight dirty, so why shouldn't he?
Couldn't agree with you more man. Future Gohan will and always will be my favorite version of Gohan and favorite character in Dragon Ball period because of what he represents. He represents the unbreakable spirit and will. He never gave up and never lost hope even against the insurmountable odds that were Androids 17 and 18. Not once did he quit, not once did he back down, not once did he break. He fought to the bitter end and did it fighting a 2v1 with only 1 arm to boot. In the History of Trunks special, the Androids killed all the other Z-Fighters in their first battle because they went 100% from the start. Android 17 later said to Gohan that he and 18 had only been using half their full power the entire time they fought Gohan and Trunks, mainly because they still wanted to have fun fighting them. Future Gohan only got stronger than 50% of one Android at most.
Definitely, he was holding off both of them with one arm when attacked him with a volley of punches. That's 4 vs 1 arm, dude could have done it 1 on 1. Which is why when he started gaining the upper hand and they decided to get serious they attacked simultaneously cause that was the only way they'd win.

@Mijorin That can be interpreted as that. That can also be interpreted as him referring to his legacy being carried on by Trunks as the future's last hope .
Another version of the anime doing far greater justice to the characters. Just as they filled in Vegeta extremely impressively continuing to rise against Kid Buu, hurting him and even instilling fear into him (unlike the manga where he is totally useless and taken out in 5-6 hits), changing it from the Androids both barely using 50% power like in the manga and slaughtering Gohan with ease to Gohan possibly stronger than at least one but not two androids, adds so much in every regard for me. It only adds to the height and strength that Gohan's conviction reaches in his fight for peace and it feels so much better expressed through the fight he manages to put up against them, despite their power and numbers. I get that there's meant to be a crushing hopelessness in seeing Gohan slaughtered for fun but I don't think that respects him at all and, personally, far prefer what the anime does, even just in a small but significant way.

"gohan this rain is perfect backdrop for your demise"
17: This thunderstorm is a perfect backdrop for your demise.
Gohan: There Is No End For Me, NO END!
a lot of to figure out in this scene i never noticed till now
Who did this? It sounds like Faulconer but with some added hip-hop tone to it; I can't tell if that's Faulconer himself or somebody who maybe remixed something of his.
There is no end for me, no end!!
In the Manga Future Gohan dies but its not raining instead the sky is clear lile any normal day. Imo both anime and manga portrayed his death extremely well
is there a version without gohan's scream?
The opening sounded like the first mission of Doom.
