Man I REALLY like this one. So far, aside from the OP and the Final Dungeon theme, this is the song that has stuck the most in my head. Edit: Also the Legend of VII, that one is really good too.

The starting part was perfect for Yun Ka Fai's entrance in the hospital. Almost feels like he stopped "time" itself. Besides that, this reminds a lot of Ashita e no kiseki.
The instruments in this one are much more pleasant on the ear than his usual. I can imagine hear this on loop. At least not the usual loud SWAM Violin all over his track in Kuro 2 and Ys X or the chicken guitar or the ear-piecercing synth.
Probably the best Singa boss theme out of the Kai bunch so far. 2:16's section does the song no favors, but everything before that is a lot better. A good arrange would do wonders for this one...
Yeah I hear you and when the climax/hook of this song started playing and I heard this for the first time I thought for a second I was hearing ascension (bahamut theme)
Pretty decent for Singa's boss themes. Fits the Rean and Shizuna fight decently. (SPOILERS!!!) Also gets re-used for Yun Ka-fai's battle, and more jarringly, some generic scenes late in the game.
Hum... i don't think it truly fit Rean vs Shizuna in my opinion (would've personally loved a Shizuna main theme motif but heh), though it's still miles better than whatever the terrible EDM boss theme 1 was...
I wonder how many haters are actual musical expert. After all there is a guy in the comment say that the game itselves argonized him so i dont think he gonna like anything in the game in general.
Exactly what i was thinking. Couldn't they made some subtle motif about The Legend of VII and Shizuna theme so that it could fit the two characters, a bit in the way of Daisuke Ishiwatari? ok, maybe i'm asking too much here i guess XD

I love how Falcom told Singa to make a song very specific to Rean and Shizunas fight and he did just that, this was handcrafted just for their fight

I think this theme is more a 8l1b school vs black god 1b school, so, not surprise they reused in Yun sensei's fight
I quite like the melody at 0:43. Shame about... almost everything else, really. Still, probably the most listenable Singa boss theme in some time.

Because most of the OSTs are related to an external composer, Mitsuo Singa. He made this, but if a BGM is bad, 9 times out of ten, it's Singa.
