I kinda understand what that IRE fuzz is about... It sounds a lot more "pop" than the older records. But that is entirely what's wrong with Metal. Metal could be a force to be reckogned with, if only people would listen to the songs they like instead of the sounds they are told to like. I know. The exact same can be said about pop music. People don't listen to stuff they like, they like stuff they listen to. On the radio... In the mall... During ad breaks. However there is this certain finesse in this song, a lot of feeling that I'm missing from the usual "TAKE ONE TO THE FACE PUNK!" style of PWD. Music is an art form. It is a story to be told that doesn't nessecary require words to describe. You see people use Autotune nowwadays to reproduce one popular sound almost exactly because it is the stuff that sells. If you go to an art museum, you don't see the same style repeatedly. There are things that look like a 3 year old drew it jeah but point is art doesn't have to be always an all encompassing complex style. If you can capture a year worth of events and feelings in 3 words, people would praise you for it. Same should apply in art too. Anyways, I enjoyed the different style this album opened up. It feels *to me* like a mix of Core metal and Iron Maiden, especially in this Song, with the orchestral instruments I get this "Blood Brothers" vibe from it. Or something that could've been on the "Dance Of Death" album. Peace.
You're a pretty good guitar player. I play Rocksmith myself quite a bit, and is basically the way I learned most of my shit. I notice you can play these nutty solos but then you have difficulties with some simpler parts sometimes? No hate here, I typically always watch your newest uploads, etc. Just some criticism!
During solos I will only look at the game, during "easier" parts I'm always looking back between Twitch chat and the game, thats why I tend to miss a bunch of stuff. Also keep in mind lots of my uploads are first time play throughs. On sightreads its sometimes to guess picking patterns of rhythms on "easier" riffs!
As far as pedal tuners go look for a second hand Boss TU-2 or TU-3. They're really common and really cheap, as accurate as you need and built like a tank. I got mine for £25, absolute bargain for what it is.
Incredibly melodic riffs in this song. Love it!

I want your Insomnium tshirt >:v
My dad bought it for me on the 70000 Tons of Metal cruise! :D
The only issue with this is that tone switch issue FeelsBadMan
Yeah! I could have manually switch clean and crunchy tones on the keyboard, but I didnt want to miss notes :(
Absolutely. Besides that little issue, everything was awesome. Nice job
You should try to play "Metal forever" by Hellish war, it's really fun to play!!
