So I did this on my 04 prairie 700 v twin and the new radiator has a cap and a vent drain.. the old radiator didn't have a cap or a vent.. the thermostat housing is separate and has a cap and a vent that routes to the overflow reservoir. my question is because i used a T fitting to route both the over flow vents from the radiator and the thermostat housing vent together .. is that what is still giving me issues with keeping temps down? I am running hot at around 210 and it climbs till i sit and let the fan cool it.. I also ran the fan to a toggle and still no luck.
I’m about to this to my 04 700, but I’m keeping the stock radiator in place so it will have 2 radiators. It shouldn’t be overflowing if it’s not overheating, so it must be something else like your thermostat is stuck.
Great video !🇺🇸
I just ordered this
Did you take the front plastics off to remove the radiator?
Did you have to extend the wire to the fan or was it long enough?
We had to extend it. they include extra in this kit.

How long did it take from start to finish?
About 4 beers 😂. Time wise maybe about an hr.
@@tlwilliams3000 Thanks lol
You didn't have to remove the plastics to get the radiator out?
Electric fan on it !?
Pulled it out from the side.
