I feel your mother's struggle. I pick up accents really easy and without meaning to. When I was in middle school I ended up with a sporadic British accent from reading the Harry Potter books because they're written with an accent so you have to read them with an accent.
Ancient mythology is actually quite palatable when set to music of the highest quality. E.g. The RUSH album "Hemispheres". I was first in line at the record store, the day that came out.
When they're talking about book covers for 50 shades.. it was not a coincidence that sales of kindles/e-books went through the roof at the same time as the book 😂

There's an anime called "Platinum End" on streaming right now that tells the story of a guy and a bunch of other people who are saved by angels at the brink of dying by suicide and depending on the angel that rescues them, they get offered a red arrow or a white arrow. If you "stab" someone with the red arrow, that person will fall MADLY in love with you. They will do ANYTHING for you: give you the keys to their house, their fortune, kill or die for you, you name it! So, the whole cupid thing is frightening AF because of the power "infatuation" has on us. We stop being ourselves. We take action without thinking too much.

My brain sometimes gets into a fritz where it'd just make me speak in a different accent than my normal one and I just have to talk it out to purge it or else it'd drive me nuts, like I can't control it, it's really bizzare.

They say national Margarita day, but they recorded it Monday or Tuesday, so I am feeling the time distortion, two weeks ago the dollar store added a quarter to the prices so now 35 (or 60) pre-prepared Floss picks are not less than 3 or 2 cents each, but now slightly more than 2 or 3 cents, So I will save them in my ball cap.
When it comes to the Disney communities, a friend of a friend directed a play about a family that lived in Disney, it's called Dis-topia and it's definitely worth a watch! It's on TH-cam if you are interested.
Love this podcast so much. 👍👍👍👍 I have friends and relatives that buy season passes to Disney and go every month or two, go there in costume for Halloween, etc… Disney is not my jam. I’ve been there maybe 4 times in my lifetime and that’s enough for me. The weed store scenario is so foreign to me; I live in northwest Florida (gulf coast) and it’s not legal here, except for medical purposes. Legalizing it for recreational use is being proposed for a vote though, (vote YES!). Mamrie, possums do not carry rabies, will not harm Beanz, as they are docile critters (but their urine and poop is toxic to pets and humans), they’ll eat almost anything, they love fruits and veggies, and they kill bugs, snakes and vermin around your property.
