      I went to and Graduated from University of Miami . I have been to many different schools worked many different jobs . University of Miami was the worst environment I had ever been .A lot of Rich kids that where punks imo . The teachers r great and the campus is nice . It’s a hard school to get into . I had a ton of work compared to the other college I was previously at . If I could do college again I would never even consider university of Miami . I personally just didn’t love university of Miami because of the rich vibe the kids gave off . They where spending thousands of dollars at the club each week . My experience was terrible there . I’d tell ur son go to FSU . The kids where very smart , like take a shot at u out of now where . I did meet a lot of cool people don’t get me wrong but overall my experience was terrible ( I went there 3 years and got money off ) . I advocate against university of Miami . It is one thing when u visit on campus and walk around it is another thing when u become part of the student body

      It was genuinely the worst environment I. Had ever been in. Imagine a bunch of kids with unlimited money and u put them on one campus . That’s university of Miami . It’s different when u walk around on campus versus when u become a cane

    Quick question, what resources did you use to get most of your scholarships. Im going for the Florida Bright Futures but im lost on how to find any other scholarships.

    • @ashtonherndon
      @ashtonherndon ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I personally only used bright futures and florida prepaid, and got internal scholarships from UM when I applied, but I would def look for local and cultural scholarships as well!

      I liked the campus and the overall vibe at FSU more than at UF, and also I am in the entrepreneurship program at FSU which is one of the best in the country so that was a huge factor in my decision as well! But either way both schools are amazing, it just comes down to personal preference!

      You apply as a transfer student if you have previous college credits. If you do not have college credits, you apply as a freshman. If you need housing, you also need to apply for that. Make sure you send your FAFSA report to financial aid and send an official transcript to the registrar.

    2-time Cane here. I love the university but yeah MIA is very expensive city and the school is very expensive. I would not suggest going there unless you’re a nepo baby or athlete. I was a Veteran student and making ends meet initially was very difficult.

    • @jackadcock4001

      Also, what too tier students are going to your school? Oh they don't? Maybe that's due to your 60%+ acceptance rate 😅

    • @mikehawk6177
      @mikehawk6177 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ah yes your analysis is so valid yet you lack the ability to easily research information on google as well. If you had this rare ability then you’d be able to find out that in 2021 FSU’s acceptance rate was 36% and in the same year Miami’s was 28.5%. But hey if you want to gloat over the 7.5% acceptance differential that simply comes down to UMiami having half the space available for students compared to FSU.
      Nearly the same acceptance rates and identical rankings in the US News and World Report, yet you’re trying to validate paying 10x more money for the same education😂.
