1:07 when you said the 890 came out in 2019 which was 5 years ago I suddenly realized how old I was. I dont know why but I felt like it hasn't been that long
The Polaris is a gorgeous ship and a great gift to any Org/Group, Star Citizen is a weird game, it defies common sense and logic, buying an Idris, is like buying a E-Type Jaguar.......and giving it to the whole street to enjoy, or buying a large Concept Car at sale, then parking it on your drive way for 3/5 yrs before you can drive it, And ''No refunds'', just melt to your account. Yet putting that madness aside, Star Citizen is really coming into its own, its unique, immersive, becoming feature rich and with a depth i never thought possible., fun times ahead. PS: I think with the immergence of the Polaris into the verse, many solo owners will quickly see the benefit to a crewed ship, i dont think it needs a full crew, just a smaller competent crew, i have a Hammerhead to Polaris CCU, and would expect an Imperator trial pretty soon after launch. I melted everything in my fleet, all $5000 worth, now have both a Zeus ES/CL and a Max for Wave1, and a little Aurora MR, kinda liberating, like yourself i also have a portfolio of CCU's, yet i dont reall need them anymore, i'll buy whats current, imminent and enjoy the game. Nice prep for the Noobs. Kudos
Man yeah exactly! holding onto ccus and not applying them yet, you won't permanently lock your self to said particular ship. Sit on a bunch of store credits, to play around with and use X shiny to ship that comes out until inevitably it gets melted. I know a lot of people do that including my org/friends. For me there are only few ships that I really do keep. It is weird with Star Citizen, after owning a ship for a while, feelings towards that ship could change later on from when it first released. New X ship comes out and it has better design, interior/exterior and role, etc. Thanks mate preciate it 😄
@@giorgioisgaming5814 There's nothing like the excitement of anticipation, CIG may take it precious time in delivering the goods, yet with this ship, you just know its going to be 100%+ what's anticipated. This ship has masses of potential for an Org, enjoy, i envy you.
As far as I know right now. The Polaris is going up to $825 once released. May go up more but at this time that’s the price it’s going up to. Just so everyone knows be prepared for it to go to that if not higher.
Everyone who wanted to have already assembled Polaris for $200, using zero upgrades from BMM. On the black market it can now be bought for $350. After the introduction of engineering, all capital ships lost interest.
As i understood from the CitCon - every ship you bought with real money will have tier 1 insurance. meaning you´ll always be able to get it back without extra costs. am i wrong?
An interesting discussion. IF I try for a Pioneer now its on store credit. Thing about a Pioneer on store credit is that the loaners don't appeal to me. So I will apply an LTI token, grab a Polaris and in a year or so try to get a Pioneer closer to release date. I know I will pay more but oh well. I think I will have a lot of fun with the Polaris. But yeah the Pioneer is THE ship. My fleet melted away to get the Polaris. Enough for it on account, and I am down to a Mole, Vulture, and Starlancer, and one bike LTI token. A pretty nice little fleet I think.
I have a Reclaimer a 600i and an IronChad, those are honestly too big for me alone but I love their purpose/aesthetic!! I wish I could just walk the decks of this one
It depends. i think at IAE everyone will have their chance to really disect, explore, and feel out the Polaris. It'll be really telling by then if it's worth adding to a fleet.. but also holding on to ccus you can't go wrong, the minute you apply it, you gotta be sure otherwise. Just hang onto and make the ultimate decision later
Cig has a policy that they only increase the price when they have announced it and before the increase you have the possibility to buy the ship with the old price
