The best part is that it comes right after Virginia gave a big speech about heroism and how she's gonna bring justice to the wasteland, so it perfectly establishes just how different the two of them are
Crim Rui NecroPOST! but you ain't the only one. I remember beating Wild Arms 3 in it's entirety. One of the few RPG's I have completed in full (all optional bosses/sidequests)
I found this awesomeee аll in one cheaaaat for Crоssfire :) twitter.com/d89a57d12df1a989c/status/754954572104212480 Wild Arms 3 Crоssfire Sequеnce Jаnus Thеme
On the bright side, he has a set move sequence for the first few battles. If you time it all right, and Defend the same turn you know he's going to use it, the damage dealt is cut in half, and easily fixable next turn with a Mystic Heal Berry from Virginia.
I remember many times walking away from this game.for days after loosing a fight i had 45 minutes into.... The good old days when gaming was real.and not in easy mode like it is now.
@TwilightAdy 3 and 2 are my favs still. 3 mainly because of Virginia playing the Wild West woman role REALLY well. in the US translation. (at least my opinion)
Janus' boss fights were always stratagy startagy stratagy. The first one not so much, but when he starts using Trinity, you have to kill either Janus (in the second encounter) or both of his henchmen (in the third encounter) When he bonds with the Dark Spear, his fights become even more stratagy heavy, what with his Negative Rainbow attack
@RappingBlueJay Wild arms 3 is one of the longest games I have ever played, you can't possibly beat in in under 48 hours if you start out on level 1 (suicide to try)
Wild ARMs 4 could be considered the lame duck of the series - depending on your opinion of 2, anyway - but 5 was actually pretty good, and surprisingly had one of the best soundtracks of the games, something you almost never see in the latest of a long-running series. May have been a case of too little too late, though; 5 was at the end of the PS2's life. Some also balked at the new battle system, introduced in 4, but it mainly seems to be a case of "it's bad because it's different from 3's".
For me it's: 2 > 3 > 1 > 4 Never played 5 but I'm sure it's at least as good as 4. And juat throwing this out there, I like 3 just a hair more than 1, they are practically tied but Wild Arms 2 is without a doubt my favorite. I really want them to port WA 1 and 2 to the PS4 with trophy support like they did with 3. Hell port 4 and 5 as well, I'd buy em all lol
@douplefau Seeing as Negative Rainbow is an event attack the first time your hit with it, it will KO your entire team if you arent playing a new game + so I guess we can safely say yeah, it owned us :D
Wild Arms 1 / Alter Code F & Wild Arms 3.... the glory days of the series... I'd kill for Mediavision to bring back this series but only if they stayed loyal to their roots (Wild Arms 1 ~ 3). Guys... take my money! Bring this back.
@@BlackSeraphthen you'll be excited to know that the original devs are making a spiritual successor! They had the first ever "twin kickstarter" with the original devs of "shadow hearts" and they're each making spiritual successors of their own games, "Armed Fantasia" is the wild arms successor, and "Penny Blood" is the successor to shadow hearts.
this was a great track and i always enjoed fighting janus. he kept me on my toes. only thing is by the 3rd battle...............clive owned with the crits lol.
The game isn't hard or brutal if you know what you're doing. And they don't become severely limited once you find the secret garden (or whatever it's called) and beat the nearby dungeon, that way you'll be able to grow tons of healing items. It's ridiculous how *easy* the game becomes once you're able to grow healing items.
@TehCreeper45 I have played Chrono Trigger. It's Jan-us. Again, it's Roman. It's not like the name Johan, which is German. If there's other ways to say it, I won't disagree with that, like the name Cecil, you can say it as SeS-il or See-Sil. But saying that it's Yanus because Janus is feminine, isn't really informed.
It's a shame about suikoden 4 because 5 was actually pretty good as were 1 - 3, breath of fire dragon quarter was a right out insult to the series and as for wild arms, it kind of ended with 4 because of the hex system which if the filed was larger would have been pretty ok actually but battles were just weird in a bad way, 5 was a major comeback but nobody really cared that much after 4 :( but as you say at least we can play the originals. XD
@TehCreeper45 And further more, I went ahead and did some extra research. It's Jan-us, (jey-nuhs). Or at least that's the way most people say it. I don't care if Latin doesn't have a J. I also asked a friend of mine and I'm going to take her word, the word of an English and Mythology Major over a guy who makes let's play videos, any day. He can say it his way, you can say it your way, and I'm going to say it my way. But you're right it's all a matter of opinion in the end.
@richardbaseball2006 I think you're lying lol. It's impossible to finish it including all the side content in 14 hours even if you know exactly what you're doing.
First three WA games... how I miss that pleasure of playing you... :/ This generation sucks. Aside from Tales of series, Persona and Star Ocean other sequels are practically dead. Where is WA? Where is Suikoden, Breath of Fire or Grandia? Damn it...
I haven't yet played Wild Arms 5, but the fourth game was complete trash next to WA3, so I'm not feeling entirely hopeful. They should have never even considered getting rid of WA3's dungeon-crawling puzzles in the name of bad platforming. Oh well... At least I still have Wild Arms 2 and Alter Code F to play through.
@TehCreeper45 Nah, you're full of crap. Janus is said the same as Janice, but that doesn't make it feminine. It's Roman, a Roman God in fact, hell January was named after him. You don't say that as Yanuary, do ya?
WA3 was the only one I never had the will to finish. It just doesn't hold my interest like the other ones. And them running around like idiots during fights is annoying...
Negative Rainbow. I get PTSD when i hear those two words.
LOL! My heart drops when I hear it lol.
Literally lol
Until the next fight when he at full power... Then it's ultra negative rainbow 😡
Negative rainbow. Whooooosh -Death-
Za warudo!!! Negative rainbow!!
Janus was so damn cool. A great character indeed.
"So...when I stab you with this bayonet, how loud will you scream?"
Was that one of his lines? How melodramatic! xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
@@derangeddiligenceYep, he says it right before his 3rd fight, after Virginia shoots the doomsday plot mcguffin out of his hands.
The best part is that it comes right after Virginia gave a big speech about heroism and how she's gonna bring justice to the wasteland, so it perfectly establishes just how different the two of them are
Best character theme in Wild ARMs 3. I always hoped Janus would come back after chapter 2...shame it never happened.
God I feel so fuckin' old after listening to this again
How old are you feeling now?
Mulitiblast
Oooh~! GTK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D
Every time I hear this song, I think of Dario's funny run animation during battle.
睨み合った後に即席でチーム組んでBGMがクロスファイアってのがたまらん
またやりたくなってきたなぁ
Janus Cascade rules! One of the greatest villains and rivals ever!
Taste the negative rainbow!
Beautiful piece of art, one of the hardest, yet funnest bosses to face
When I hear these songs I feel like playing everything from my younger days. XD
Crim Rui NecroPOST! but you ain't the only one. I remember beating Wild Arms 3 in it's entirety. One of the few RPG's I have completed in full (all optional bosses/sidequests)

Same dude. Good times
I love this theme. I would revisit that one town that had a jukbox quite often just to hear it again. I forgot the town's name.
Little Rock, that was the name of the town
I always get goosebumps hearing this and Wild Bunch. I love Wild Arms.
me: "ok im pretty sure hes almost beat, just a few more hits."
negative rainbow
me: "FFFFUUUUUUUU"

Get ready to hear this theme a lot. And it's the best theme in the game
What a great theme for dueling ~ ;*
i say this is the best music ive ever heard in my life and one of the best games ive ever played!!!
Janus: exists
Asgard: Hippity hoppity your song is now my property
預言者の手下のアースガルズでも流れてた良いBGM(⌒‐⌒)
@TestaXDizzy Definitely one of the most underrated RPGs of the last generation.
This is one of my all-time favorite boss themes.
Probably my second favourite piece from WA3, the first being the music plays during the second phase of the final boss, it's amazing!
Janus wasn't crazy, he was just misunderstood
何故ミリオンメモリーズのジェイナス戦でこの曲を流してくれなかったのか…(´・ω・`)
One of my favorite game to this day but i havent beat it. I still have the ps2 disc i just need to get my hands on the console
Great theme for Janus. Though I was kinda disappointed, that they used it for Asgard, too.
@Lunaraia
That's Magus' real name in Chrono Trigger as well and one of the male Dragon Quest characters has a similar name as well.
best boss music ever!
One of my favorite themes in the game.
Now that I look at it, the sniper shark XD looks more plausible than a gun blade
My favorite, couldn't find it anwhere and where starting to loose hope, Thanks for uploading it here NEVER remove it
Janus Cascade, just by the name it already sounds like a badass outlaw.
Such a good battle theme!
I can't believe how many frickin times that we had to fight Janus. o.o I mean...wasn't it like 8 times?
@douplefau it's supposed too... first time your hit with it the battle automatically ends afterwards, no matter what
Hah, bluelaguna switched this theme with something else.
Now I got it from galbadiahotel and am happy now :D
@TwilightAdy 3 and 2 are my favs still. 3 mainly because of Virginia playing the Wild West woman role REALLY well. in the US translation. (at least my opinion)

Galbadia Hotel has it under Wild Arms Advanded 3rd Original Soundtrack.
@Gardekaiser I am playing through it again, and I find myself doing that exact thing lol
Janus was ok
this song was very epic, it made me want to win thats for sure

One of the best RPGs on the PS2.
@Tacklevines yeah i know, this is my fav battle music from this game. i love it lol:D
@ramen38 anything is possible, so I don't see that as a complete impossibility
This is my favorite Theme in this Game
@blazinA28 no kidding, clive with permanenced distortion and valiant killed everything
Wild Arms 1 = 3 > 2 > 5 > 4
For me Wild Arms 2 > 1 > 3, the ones have played so far... All three good games though...

2 is good, but its almost just an Ashley focused game, 1 & 3 & Alter Code F (very good remake imo) > 2 > 4 & 5 > XF
@@ronaldjbsantos1980 C'mon man, XF is at least better than 5.
Actually it is. It's the 22nd track on disc 2.

We need a remake of wild arms 3
janus died at the 3/4 of the game, he is cool
NEGATIVE RAINBOW!
@ALinkttF well he kinda... ate the spear so not suprising
@Tacklevines Disk 2 track 22 - Crossfire Sequence XD

@ronman208 try WA1 remake, Alter Code F. FAR suprior. and it feels dead on to WA3 :)

@RappingBlueJay i just commented that it was extremely long, nothing bout any claims
He has blue hair, why wasn't he the main character?
I so wanted to find out more of Janus's past in the game =[
@Duanaces eh? Janus is a girls name? sure dosn't sound like it to me... then again Janus aint exactly a common name where I live
janus is kinda like an evil version of ashley winchester from WA2

Same here. Janus sucks, His theme rocks.
