Scungy is slang for dirty or horrible. Scungies is slang for bloomers that used to be worn over underwear by girls when playing sport. They are not worn anymore. Whinging is slang for complaining. It was often associated with the British immigrants who when they came to Australia complained that it was not like Britain. The British were called "whinging Poms". Why are the British called Poms. There are many theories about that. One is that the convicts wore uniforms with POHM ( Prisoner Of Her Majesty) on their backs. Another is that due to the Australian sun, the British complexion looked like a pomegranate skin.🤣

Not here in the West.
It's called price gouging actually. I guarantee at wholesale prices that these huge billion dollar companies get and probably an even better deal for buying so many, is extremely cheap
Whinging is pronounced "win-jing" and is another term for whining or complaining, also used when someone, usually a child, is sobbing but not really over anything - eg: "Nothing is wrong with her, she is just having a whinge'
They won't admit that much of the nurse and paramedic shortage is because many lost their jobs because they refused to take the jabs.
A far higher % have quit because of low pay and frequent assaults by inebriated road accident victims they were trying to help. Increasing workload, burnout and low morale are other factors.
Many new paramedic trainees are unable to find employment as well, the infrastructure isn't there in our big cities!

I’m not young. Even when times were prosperous, absolutely nobody said so.

Don't worry they are being stingy on the chicken! I bought a 3 piece dinner box the pieces were so small it was only barely a snack, 4 nuggets would have been the same. No more KFC for me.
Yhe problem with 'phone companies in Australia is that MOSTLY you can only contact their CALL CENTERS and they are located in either The Philippines OR India!
