It's frustrating that Violet forgives so easily. I like the message about forgiveness and healing but sometimes it's also satisfying to see people choose not to forgive. It is also a choice to not forgive the people who wronged you, even if it was somewhat justified and even if they genuinely feel sorry. Just my take though. I still love the story lol
EDIT: It's been a year since I made this comment, but to everyone replying saying that "forgiveness is healing" and blah blah blah, not everyone thinks like that. Personally, forgiveness does not always equal peace. I would never be at peace if I forgave someone who didn't deserve forgiveness, it would only make me feel regretful that I gave that person an undeserved second chance. I'm not saying you should never forgive, I'm saying it's not always the best choice for yourself. Some people choose to let go of the anger, while others choose to hold onto it, to remind themselves what they've been through and what kind of treatment they should tolerate from others in the future.

Okay.. so Easton betrayed Violet and pretended to date Sophie for money, and after not meeting for months, he calls for food and money. Sophie was born with a face distortion, gets jealous of sister who was born normally, which is just luck, and frames her, make their parents turn against her, and finally after making her face a bit normal, still doesn’t get attention she wants and ‘steals’ Violet’s crush. And Sophie forgives them.
Msa main characters should learn that if you are too kind, forgive everything and everyone, you just see loss. Being kind is cool, but there is this line you have to keep.

For those of you who think violet forgave Sophie and Easton for what they did, that’s not exactly true. She technically hasn’t forgiven either of them. Sophie doesn’t deserve forgiveness. Easton might be another story; at least he cared about violet. He was only desperate for money, but if he was really that desperate, he should have asked violet for help. I wish there was a scene involved where violet overhears Easton and Sophie talking, and Easton says Sophie has taken things way too far, that violet is not just jealous; she’s really hurt, and they should stop or something. That might have helped his character a bit, instead of him lecturing violet about being a bully, when he and Sophie were the ones who bullied her. Even her pranks were nothing compared to what they did. Honestly, I'm surprised Violet didn't lose her mind after all this. As for Violet’s parents, honestly, I would have called CPS immediately.

I'm glad Sophie realized she was in the wrong and apologized to Violet. I know from firsthand experience you can never take your sibling for granted, and you have to stick together. Your sibling is the only one who truly understands you.

MSA is pretty entertaining, but not at all a masterpiece. The writing is mediocre and the plot of most stories is predictable and overused. I enjoy watching these stories from time to time, but they are comparable to dhar man. I like the newer animation, though.
i really love violet and i feel like she deserved a lot more attention. her parents treated her like TRASH, her sister basically ruined her life, and even after all this, she still survived and forgave. to be honest, sophie deserved a lot better for how she was treated but that doesn't give her the right to absolutely make her sister's life HORRENDOUS. it was so unforgivable for what she did even after she had her little surgery. her sister sat by her and supported her when she was little and at the surgery and probably more times. it's no wonder violet had the right to feel rage at her sister. sophie deserved the revenge for setting her and easton up the whole time. it kinda makes me fume at the fact that sophie still forgave her.

Idk, though. I would still forgive Sophie if I were Violet, too. Because I feel bad for her, yk? Like her living under her siblings' shadow for so long and all. Although she shouldn't have bullied her sister, it happened when she was a child and teenager, when she was still immature and didn't know any better. But after when she grew up and became an adult, she apologised sincerely and became more mature, etc. So, I would forgive her if I were in Violet's position even if it takes some time. Idk, I already feel bad for Sophie because like everyone is talking badly about her even when she has changed when she grew up. I'm mad at the parents, though, for not handling the situation well. I expected better from the parents since they are the adult here. They shouldn't have kicked Violet out, and they should have brought Sophie to therepy to learn to see things differently and to handle her situation in a healthier way instead of bullying her sister. This is just my opinion, btw. No offense
