What I love about this channel, which I discovered recently, is that it's not just Wikipedia + space visuals, it has this unique existential vibe, much like watching 2001: Space Odyssey.

I think it indicates that there is a whole lot we don't know and may never know. Why? Because, how can you see something outside of your own universe? There's is obviously more to the cosmos than just our universe. Question is, how do we explore that? Can we leave our universe and travel to another universe? Could humans or our machines survive that? Are the physical laws of another universe capable of sustaining human life or even matter as we know it? Lots of questions. Most of them are scary. What is out there?
@@caturdaynite7217 You're right, and also let's not forget that even within our own universe we can only observe the observable part, which is shrinking (in our perspective) because of the expansion of the universe and the constancy of the speed of light. So even just inside our universe we will never be able to see the whole universe unless we find something, anything that's faster than the speed of light. If that happens, then I believe we (our descendents who will hopefully still be kind of human) will be able to see more than the observable part, and then we'll discover if there are boundaries or if it's actually infinite, or if the expansion is even true or just an effect in a region of the universe, and also if there are other universes (this one might be tricky even with FTL technology). You're completely right on the fact that we can't go to different universes, or see inside them, we could maybe notice their boundaries (if they're there at all). I think that this also relates to the fact that we can't see the microscopically small, only representations of it, and the smaller we can see, the more biased or unrealistic it looks (if you watched journey into the microcosm you know what I mean, in short: if we were scaled down to the size of a microbe, things would look very different from what we see under a microscope). My personal belief is that sizes are infinite. Both ways. I believe that if the required technology exists (which is exactly the problem) you can zoom infinitely in or out and still find things of relevance, eternally. Sorry for the long comment, i was inspired lol
Its kind of impossible for light to exceed teh local speed-of-light. Expansion from nanometers to Light Years in microseconds, when nothing can travel faster than light: really? Another observation: if the Universe is 13.8B years old, and its expansion (accellerating continuously since BB), is such that today we can't observe the recession of light sources past a distance of 46B light years away (Cosmic Horizon of the Observable Universe) because the light of celestial bodies travelling beyond this cosmic horizon of 46B LY in origin can never cross such a distance before it has reached a harmonic phase equilibrium that must packetize with the receding light source. But BB Inflation Epoch photon redshift to CMB, all this time later, is still observable: how is this? No light travels above the speeds the expansion of space-time accelerates at this distance: the more distant these celestial bodies are the faster their recession, even faster than light, away from us. At all this Time/Space distance their light continuously redshifts along a sliding scale down to this Cosmic Horizon vanishing point, 46B years, until it finally becomes unobservable: the whole signal packet is lost (so to speak). Whereas in microseconds during the BB inflation epoch(?) the Universe had expanded Light Years: in microseconds photons travelled multiples of the distance that light, composed of photons, travels in a year? These sound like different speeds of light, ya know? Is this the missing mass? I am reminded of Einstein's Mass Equivalence comment here, the fusion of 2 Hydrogen to one Helium results in a loss of mass that is given by energy conversion to Light. Just a thought. Finally, I recall well those initial microseconds were around 13.8B years ago - a helluva lot of microseconds have past since those few. One assumes the Universe has meanwhile continued expanding,
Sea, Your content is not only breathtakingly beautiful, but infectious and inspirational. I’ve long desired to dedicate my life to the stars and the search for answers, and you’ve given me the inspiration to keep that dream alive!

Also, I like watching stars at night with friends, and sometimes I play these videos and they love it, or I watch them after I watched stars with my friends. Wow. I went to leave a comment about how much I appreciate your videos and it was great to read so many fantastic comments that already perfectly described how I feel! :) Great videos SEA. Always so excited when I see there is a new upload! Great balance of data, information and knowledge. Thank you

I feel that my appreciation isn't nearly enough to express how satisfied I am with your video. This video (like many other of your videos) is highly educational, entertaining and absolutely beautiful work. Thank you for gathering and sharing these very interesting facts and theories.
Once again an absolute awesome episode. I congratulate you sir. Stunning, thought provoking and interesting. Tied together with such narration to keep the watcher glued to every episode. An afternoon spent with you and the science itself would be an absolute honour.
Just wanted to say that your videos should set the standard for content creators in the youtube community. They are of amazing quality and really enjoyable, much love and keep up the good work man.
Just the other day I was thinking "What will SEA even talk about next?" and sure enough I find you have uploaded. You create amazing, education, and existentially gutting content. It's like a special event every time I see a new video of yours. I wish I could be watching these in the theater.
I watched this so many times, I cannot express enough how much I enjoyed this video. Great work. Rapidly ascending to the top as one of the best space/universe related channels.
Thank you once again for your incredible content, always a pleasure to watch anything you release and wish you every success with your channel in the years to come
What I like the most about this channel is how the things we don't have a firm understanding of isn't littered with baseless theories. A lot of TV shows throw in stuff like "MAYBE IT'S ALIENS???!!!" whenever something even slightly mysterious is mentioned, but here it's just just brought up as being on the limits of human understanding as well as presenting the theories of the foremost experts in the field. It just elevates the excitement about the unknown to a much higher level.
This 1000%. Every tv show goes into clickbait theories like "IS THIS CMB ACTUALLY PEOPLE FROM ANOTHER DIMENSION TRYING TO COMMUNICATE?" followed by some educated science dude saying "yeah it could definitely be communication from another dimension, but we just don't know". Then they'll show some distorted shadow figures with curious music playing, then delve into what the interdimensional shadow people would theoretically look/sound like. That shits so intriguing when your a child, but now its just like wtf come on now. Instead hearing someone say "its beyond our understanding" sparks a primal urge to learn more & solve.
Well tbh for once the scientist was literally though like that when they detect 'strange' signal with very consistent rate. Only few years later it was found that was electromagnetic beam produced by neutron star, marking the first proved evidence of the existence of neutron star (it already covered in SEA video about neutron star.
What? It "didn't took NASA half a century to create as accurate image" NASA created a better and MUCH more accurate image by using and collecting more data over a longer period a time and choose to release it when they were happy with the results, which is why to "took longer". CCC doesn't propose a universe that expands and then re-compresses, but one that expands continuously, but that once matter evolves/deteriorates to beyond a certain point there is no longer any meaningful scale-no more big or small at all; then another cycle can begin.

There's always this sense humbling and comforting feeling that I get from watching Sea's videos, not to mention the expert use of background music, there's so much of them that I've saved just cause I heard them here.
This is by far my favorite channel on TH-cam. I look forward to your videos, no matter how long they take.
These videos are amazing. Great work Sea!
You have some of the most informative and beautifully edited space videos on TH-cam ❤️
Absolutely love this channel! These videos are amazing to watch with how in depth things are explained, I truly find each upload fascinating!
Hats off to you. What you condense and explain is incredible. Bringing together unimaginable intellect.
I’ve actually never heard the Big Bang explained this way. ❤️Have I expressed how much I love this channel?! Thank you SEA!!

Dude I love listening to your videos as I'm in bed going to sleep. Your voice and everything else is so soothing.
How do you make space so spooky? I always feel on edge and beyond curious with your vids, it is genuinely fantastic. Like sci-fi horror but it's real life explanations and theories.
Great video Sea!
I'll watch this one several times. Thanks for hitting on my favorite subject.
Bro, you are the best channel on TH-cam! Thank you for taking something incredibly difficult to comprehend and making it understandable for the masses!
I love the care and detail of these presentations. ❤️ So so interesting, and I really learn from these.
CCC doesn't propose a universe that expands and then re-compresses, but one that expands continuously, but that once matter evolves/deteriorates to beyond a certain point there is no longer any meaningful scale-no more big or small at all; then another cycle can begin.
Sea,
I love falling asleep to your videos almost every single night. You have such a soothing voice and your content is gold. I am so glad I found your channel!
David butlers Playlist "how old is it' and "how far away is it" are extremely informative about the age of the universe and the vastness of the cosmos respectively. His voice is the type to make you fall asleep after your first watch much like SEA.
One of the best channels I've found for learning this type of material. Keep it up 👍
You sir Sea are a legend. The apreciation to your tons of profound information and the way you bring it is real.
You should connect with Naseim Haremein, i think you guys will get along and bring eithother to higher levels even.
Doing my part to boost interaction :D Excellent video dude, you and your team (if you have one) are amazing and I absolutely love your stuff.
Guys, support SEA and buy a t-shirt if you can. I got one a few months ago and they're super comfy and fit nice with the channel logo on it. I love this channel and look forward to every monthly video. Thanks SEA!
You knw Sea, I notice something within your explanation of the universe... It all resembles a heartbeat. The constant fluctuations, the expansion and collapse creating Aeons... Something is out there and my gut is making feel... wierd
One of your best videos to date! Fantastic work SEA
Man, the universe truly has done some of the most extraordinary things to lead up to us existing, and human anatomy alone seems like a miracle.
I truly believe we are destined to explore the stars and lead. Whether it’s other humans or other life out there.
Dude we’ve missed you man! Today is a good day! Thanks as always!🔥🔥
I can listen to anything you explain, it's just that voice and that tone, not everyone has it. That aside, this was a great video. Thank you for taking the time and trouble to make such a video.
Definitely glad I just pressed yes for notifications from you, its 04:34 AM and I thought "I wonder if SEA has uploaded lately?" Boom I'm 6 days late to a kickass video I would've loved watching on a monday :p
One of my favourite channels on TH-cam 🤩🤩
Dude, the way you’ve described the big bang may be the single most captivating and enthralling that I’ve ever witnessed. And I’ve been involved for years bro. Wooow!
Please do more, I love your channel, put simply, there isn't enough of it
Bravo!
I absolutely love your work. Always looking forward to your next release.!
Thank you!
Your content is INCREDIBLE!
Another sea masterpiece. Well done that man .
Everything that comes up from this channel was rare content and sensational! It always fascinates me what's beyond our Earth! Thanks for this video mate! 👍😍
SEA is my biggest watch after Football. I find all these subjects fascinating and have to watch all of them several times over before I get a rough idea of whats going on. But I persevere and slowly but surely starting to understand bits and pieces, and I love it. Excellent work as usual, thank you very much.
Yay! A new sea upload, finally one I haven't seen. 😆☺️🙌
Thank you for uploading!
I've followed for years and I have always admired your dedication. I am dedicated to a different career path, but as a Sagittarius, there has always been a place in my heart for learning the cosmos, even as a small kid.
too much of a gentleman to actually play line level white noise when introducing "static" ❤️
Boy! Wow! I absolutely love listening to your videos and seeing the spectacular vistas you show of cosmic wonder! Thank you for teaching me so much about the universe, I remain an eager fan!
