We missed out on Chimmi Lhakang as well, and the village too. After our visit to the 108 Chortens at Dochula Pass, we went to the nearby Royal Botanical Garden. Yes, visits to the Punakha Dzong and Suspension Bridge of course. But nah, to the river rafting. There is much more to Punakha and its thereabouts for just a day that we had, as you did too. From Thimphu, we went to Paro first and then Punakha which was a switch. I think your hotel location was better, ours was a little away in Wangdue.
Yes so true, Punakha has lot to offer can not cover everything in one day. Even we wanted to stay in the town a bit more but couldn’t due the trip schedule 😢. I loved it that u shared your experiences with me😊. Thank you so much ❤️
