It reminded me of a scene from Battlestar Gallactica when the fleet was first flying through New Capricas Atmoshper.

Been an on line gamer since the days of UO and EverQuest. Played almost all of the big names, but in all of these 24 years, nothing(not even EVE) has come close to Star Citizen. Even with the bugs and glitches, this game out performs anything out there today. Great vid with some real SC moments.
So much this. I've maintained to all of my friends and people that know I play the game (and thus give me shit for it) one thing above all else:
"I've played games of all kinds for 26 years. It's been one of my biggest loves since I was 4 years old. But of all of those games over the years, I can't lie to myself about this one:
When Star Citizen works, it is unlike any game I have ever played. Period. If you want a further explanation, try the game and see for yourself."
Yep, I've been gaming since the Atari 2600 and this is the only game I've spent £1k + on and the only one I would pay for as a service. It's nowhere near to where it's going but it's already a masterpiece.

Right there with you. Been gaming for 36 years. This has brought me the wildest moments. Shame some people think it's a scam and will never look into it for themselves
The only difference with EvE is that it was released 20 years ago, while this one will never release becasue people are still throwing money for spaceships that they can only look at. It is the biggest scam in digital entertainment. I remember people building $5k systems with the I7 980 CPU back in 2012 to play SC. Would you still tell those guys its not a scam?
If I would have paid over $1k for a game that will never release, I'd probably look at those class action lawsuits and get some back.
This deserves to be part of the SC original soundtracks. The ambiance goes great with the game
In the Cutty formation, it is awesome the way they blow up snow when they roll over. What other game has ever gone to half the detail of this one?

F me; I play this game most days of the week when I get any spare time, even if just to do a single mission sometimes, and here I am still captivated by a well-shot and edited montage set to a gorgeous rendition of a classic song even when I know all of this content so, so well already. Very nicely done video - this game continues to amaze me (even amidst the bugs).

This has been a pleasure to watch. Everything about the video is great. The angles and camera panning were smooth. My ONLY complaint is seeing the hammerhead in action with only one active turret gunner, that is a cinematic crime! 😂 Great stuff, hope you do more.

Every time i play any other game im reminded just how insane star citizen is, no loading screans, being able to go anywhere, land anywhere, do anything you want really. When the game works its definitely one of, if not the most immersive games. Hell, half the time i play it i just fly my super hornet to a random place on any planet and just look at my ship 😅 the game really is something else

Spent most of 2023 on a hiatus from the game cause I got into a bit of slump. Bummed I felt that way as I finally picked up the MSR but playing alone gets lonely, but watching this makes me want to jump back in! I think in reality I've done most everything I can solo wise and I'm just waiting for Pyro to be available.
I was the same way, and after finally giving up on trying to get my RL friends to get this and play with me, I eventually just said in Global Chat "I've given up trying to get my friends to play this, so it's time to make friends on this game. Anyone wanna play?"
Led me to one of the best groups of folks someone like me could ask for. Very chill org with a lot of vets, but one that doesn't take itself too seriously. I fully feel that sense of loneliness, but I implore you to try to find a group like I did! Even when I still sometimes prefer playing solo, it's always great to have a solid group of friends that you know play the game regularly to fall back on.
Its looking good doesn't it? But as soon as you lag through bugged gameplay with shit performance you feel like falling for the shallow hot girl again. They should rename it to "hot girl the forever incomplete"

they should have AI to detect, record and replay moments like this of each player as the start screen when you select your server and party up etc., in the background, instead of the fishing guy

When will the game release? I want to see it release then I'll decide if its worth paying anything. I've been waiting to spend money on it since 2012, but apparently they are not capable of releasing the game or they need more money from naive people.(or both)
Going to be a long while considering this isn’t even remotely like any game in the past. They have to invent all new systems to make the game work and do so on a larger scale than anyone else before.

This game might be unplayable, but by the gods does it look cool.
Great visuals but still very scripted or organized. When you say unscripted, I think cool, cinematic events that happened randomly. E.g you seeing a dog fight in the sky while looting a village down below.
Nothing in this video was scripted. I was either part of some group activity, or filming an event, like a race or formation flight. All combat was already taking place, when I began filming. I die a lot in these attempts. That last follow clip was pure luck with me surviving those trees at the end.
That clears up a lot. Your work is appreciated
