I rarely leave comments but I just wanted to say how much I appreciated your attitude to the break in. I feel like SO many TH-camrs would have made a massive deal of it with it in the title/thumbnail etc. but I love that you kept the children and the trees the focal point of the vlog rather than acting all entitled! You go, bro :)
I believe you have picked up on a great point here. Vlog focussed on the positive, not the negative. Spread the positivity :)

It takes a lot out of somebody to just say "forget it, stuff happens" when he lost stuff that's important to him in both physical and sentimental way. Respect to you Ben!
Damn! Welcome to the neighborhood. Didn't waste any time at all. I hope the house has a security system because they might try to break into the house next. I will say though that when you consider your car being broken into and compare it to the community service that you provided that day it is a drop in the bucket, eh? Life is so much more than our material possessions and sometime we lose focus of that. Goes to show how spiritually advanced you are that you didn't let it ruin your entire day.
What is so great about this vlog is the fact that you chose to move on from the break in and focused more on the tree planting! You focused on the positives and ignored the negatives and that's what is inspiring. Something I and I'm sure others need to do more of!
Watching this video gave me a huge inspiration and realization session! You started with Pumba being broken into and I immediately thought "Oh crap there goes a ton of money!" Then as you progressed into the Green Pop tree planting, I realized at the start of the day you lost money, now let's be honest you have a share of money (enough to keep you going at least) and having stuff stolen obviously will impact your account. But you planted trees at a less fortunate place. Those smiles, energy and happiness that one single act of planting trees gave all of those children were worth more than money can replicate! Ben, you're a true inspiration! I hope you realized as much as I did, that although you yourself lost money you gained the smiles and the opportunity to change that whole schools spirit and hopefully impacted many lives for the greater! Now that is something that can't be bought!
A couple vlogs ago someone commented about it being dangerous to live on that area if you didn't have a safe place to pumba... I didn't took it serious and when you said they actually broke into my heart almost stopped lol guess she's more part of the brownies than I imagined. Keep on going Ben, always positive. 💜
It's a very up-and-coming area. But to be honest you could get broken into anywhere in SA if you leave your car overnight with items on show. I love Woodstock & I don't want to live anywhere else now.
***** To be honest, by what you say about the area in the vlogs, I'd probably choose to live there too! It's just a shame how these things happen, but that's just how life is! Plus, the house is AWESOME ;)

Agreed. I can imagine another youtuber's title being: CAR THEFT! Then a thumbnail of broken glass on the ground. Then a 15 second clip of what actually happened. Then 15 minutes of watching them eat out three different times followed by a massage and hot tub.. because it's all just too much.

Sorry Ben for what happened to Pumba, but you took it like a boss. You are a really good guy. And in my experience, living in a country where crime is on the rise, the best thing you can do is to put a car alarm. My cousin waited until it happened 4 times before installing the alarm, and ever since she did there hasn't been another break in. Hope everything is well!! And thanks for teaching us about GreenPop :D
I don't often leave a comment but today i feel the obligation to say to you how much i love your humor, your creativity and your way of living life. You have many steps of improvement to take yet but the path your are walking on is the one that inspires you and your audience! I really feel sorry for Pumba but the way your day continued after the breaking, was a drop of happiness, love, hope and optimism! "we are so young but we have so much hope" cheers to that Ben!

We did something very similar in 2014 on a youth pastors course I did with a bunch of others. We went into a school like that and we worked with the kids and the teachers and did lessons etc. So awesome and so great to see this and brought back so many memories. Thanks Ben, those kids were all over you just like the kids at the school we were at as well. :-)
