So u wakeup in yer little box, no morning toilet, no breakfast, just straight to work. That's dystopia.
This is why TH-cam is so cool. I’m sitting in new Zealand drinking my coffee getting a point of view video of nyc. Awesome. Thanks dude
@shep1634 and you've just perfectly demonstrated why youtube also sucks. There's always some virgin with a negative comment.
@@MondoMatty lmfao you are rlly telling on yourself bro. You’re overthinking it 😂
I am impressed by the kindness of customers and suppliers in giving you the order and receiving it. In my country they are rude and rude. I love your bike, here that's worth a lot, I drive a single change with V-type brakes.
Yea. Orders are Never ready when I arrive. Wait time is 5-10 mins. Totally ruins your day.
go pro pov's of their work kind of vlogs are just superb, whether its about making coffee, cooking, or this
the way my anxiety (or adrenaline) shoots up when you navigate near cars, turning cars, turning cars, and mass of people walking in front of you. Thank you for doing what you do!
It would be safer for everyone if he had brakes and used them occasionally.
NGL, being a bike courier/delivery in NYC looks thrilling. Cool thing is you are exercising, seeing the city, and making some cash. Plus no car payment, no insurance payment, no parking fees. The ony thing you gotta deal with mostly is that weather right now! Nice video, bro. Keep peddling!
These are the reasons I do it man! Thanks for the comment & for watching. There’s nothing like the freedom that comes from working on the bike
Being a delivery personn will never be a good job I am sorry.
I did it for 5 years, and yes of course you are outside you exercise and all but first like you said weather is terrible doing this during winter is just a hard time to deal with and the worse I think for me it is just to deal with traffic , you risk your life everyday people no seeing you and I am not even talking about the pollution that you are inhaling or deposit on your hairs/ skin.
And to finish yes you see good customers in this video but how many are just shitting on you thinking that you are lower class person doing a lower class job and no worries some will tell you.
I think doing delivery is a good transition job or for people who want to discover a city and earn quickly some money but it is definitely not a job you can do in long term.
riding a bike through Midtown is one of the most exilerating things you could ever do tbh. it's fucking madness. watch out for those fucking e scooter guys tho. not the stand up ones, but the ones that look like mopeds.
Yep, no car payment, no insurance, no parking, no bathroom inside your apartment, no savings, no retirement, no career path, no benefits, no weekends. I was a bike messenger for 6 years of my life
This was awesome. Was kind of surprised how polite everyone is to one another, definitely against the stereotype 👍👍
I came to comment this. The biggest american stereotype I had was that they do not say thank you to each other or between service workers, It's amazing to find out it's quite the opposite :)
I am a 19-year-old Korean teenager who dreams of visiting America I'm so happy and thankful that I can see the daily landscape of the U.S. through your videos. I'll continue to watch your videos 🙂🚲
Wow! That means a lot is me, thank you for watching 😁 personally someday I’d love to visit Korea! 🤝
@@mohammadmehmood3405 In Korea, adults are from the age of 20 years old
Great video as always. Hope you stay safe out there. Nice riding skills, that was some seriously tight spots.
I really appreciate that! And haha thank you these bars were a little too wide for this haha I did get stuck a few times. Stay safe!
Please get a holder for your phone on your steer. There are wetproof ones
Fixed gear in NYC has a dope vibe. I've been riding fixed for about 8 years here in London and there's parts of the city that have the same vibe I'm getting from this video.
I thought New York would be more chaotic and random than really is. Really appreciate the content mate. Best regards from Spain.
@@BlackManBlackDog No it hasn't. Vibes have certainly changed. Its gotten a bit better since Covid but I doubt it will be like it was.
@@James_Cy didn't they introduce a congestion charge and cameras? it's probably going to get worse
You made it look easy, this brings back memories. I used to stop for an egg drop soup, coffee, and a joint, you need to constantly drink liquids even on cold days.
That sounds like the perfect combo!😅 and thank you! I really appreciate that. 😁🤙🏼
Dude a Quad lock bike mount and phone case would change the game for you
This is soothing to watch, thank you.
huge respect for hard work and effort of this guy
Man, you are a hero of our time. I wouldn't dare drive a fixed-gear bike in this weather.
@@dogbonetc7623 breaking would be the only real issue and it’s not so bad depending on your tires
You could always add a pair of caliper brakes on top of the fixie system though, right? I love the simplicity of riding a fixie though
That's a lot of cardio!
Had me gasping every time you went in between the cars lol
ah lovely. 31 by now and watching bike messenger vids, movies everything passionately for along, long time. doing the same here in zurich, switzerland - or did - and will love bicycle riding in the city, through the traffic, and perfectionizing all the technical aspects, aswell as timing, organization, forever, I'm sure about that. Now your videos, must be said, are really hella satisfying, since you don't cut out anything really, so it feels like a trip to exactly what inspired me in terms of bike riding and makes me wanna live that ny-bicycle-riding-dream again. Lovely videos, just as they are. And some smooth, safe riding there :) ah and that's a pretty type of green you got there on ur bike
There's something uniquely satisfying watching a guy doing honest work, during a sh*tty weather, riding his bike around the NYC. It even makes me wanna visit NY.
Nice man you're lowkey living the dream dude - I'm sure it's tight money wise esp in the NYC but it looks like you're having fun and you don't have a set schedule you gotta follow, there's power in that kind of freedom.
Thanks man! That is the sacrifice we make because like you said the freedom is more valuable than the pay sometimes haha. I appreciate you watching!🤙🏼
beauty of a bike, love the color even more
Like seeing those videos, i feel like for a time i am living another life. The small rent/place/thingy, the city, the job, the people are different. But goddamn bro that bike looks sooo good. One day i wish to have something similar: bmx grips, shiny cockpit steel frame chrome spokes. I hope ur good and happy
Wow! I felt that so much. Before I started my channel I used to watch onnacomup! I felt like I was in their shoes when watching the videos. It really inspired me to start my channel. And hey thanks man, I was able to get mine for really cheap off Facebook marketplace! Thanks for watching 😁
I could watch these all day. Thrilling watching you do battle against NYC craziness on a fixie
That room man 😭 my bathroom is bigger than that, no kidding. Thanks for humbling me 😢
here in São Paulo everybody has to meet the delivery guy on the street, you must loose so much time going upstairs to deliver at the person's door
This is how it is at my job! (In Indiana) all deliveries are meet the courier at the curb and yeah that saves so much time! 🤙🏼🔥
This why I luv to cycle just the rush and the feeling of the outdoors
Have you ever considered a small drink bag on the front of your bike? That way, you can stick your phone in and out of there.
Also, you’re def one of the first guys I’ve watched that were nice to even say your hellos and thank yous.
I have kinda experimented with different bags for drinks but a front bag with cup holders would be sweet! And thank you haha I try to give the same vibe back to people 😂🤙🏼
Love this man, you cultivate such a peaceful vibe. Life looks good here.
Its funny that the delivery service says that you've reached your location when you arrive at the address but then you have to check in with security, go up 10-20 floors, and walk to the apartment.
Hello, Brazilian here. Thank you for giving me this visit to the USA
This looks so cool! I love city biking and nyc seems like such a fun place.
Thank you! There are miles of fun😁 it seems like the streets never end. 🙏
honestly looks like a nice cozy life I can easily see joy in this life style. Really preference though depends if u like it or not lol.
huge respect bro! Thats sumn i can never do- all that congestion makes me anxious somebody gonna hit me. Props to you- especially on a brakeless fixed gear in the rain, badass right there 👏
Haha I appreciate that! When you do it daily it becomes almost normal 😅
@@Fixedgearr wait a sec, the bike isnt really breakless, you push pedals in opposite direction and it breaks... right?
@@pavlemilosevic329 the bike really is! I think what you’re thinking of is a coaster break in your back wheel. This just stops with leg power haha

I thought Puff wasn’t around anymore. Keep grinding. I love the content
It almost isn’t with how long the wait times are.. non the less the deliveries still come haha thanks man!🤙🏼
Hey bro your hard work does not go unnoticed! Keep doing your thing man.
Love to see you working hard while maintaining a great attitude! +1 subscriber :)
I'm addicted to London Eats' channel. Looks like I found the NYC counterpart. Subscribed!
That looks really dangerous riding near that much traffic. After getting hit by a car and breaking my femur, I only really feel safe on back rural roads where I can get off the road and wait in the grass if I see a car coming. That was scary to watch but good luck out there. I can't believe how many people drive cars in a big city with good public transit.
yeah i like the idea of bike riding in the city but it looks dangerous with all of those cars
Its fun that you get to go so many different places, some of which you won't be able to get into of you weren't a delivery
You're way more polite than some of the people in this video!
man, i've been riding a bike on the streets of a capital city since i was 8... i'm 33 now and thought i had riding skills and i'm a risky rider. This dude ups the bar a fair bit!
Admirations, man!
There's something nostalgic about riding a regular bike and doing door dash..
But that looks like alot of work..
I would go electric myself.. like your channel keep it up
Your body gets used to riding to the point where its not very challenging.
Brings me back to austin Augie days BMX deliveries. This is awesome bro!!
Bro... the most wholesome content serving your community. Rode fixed brakeless around 2011 for five years and this brings back that fire!
probably buy and installing magnetic Android mounting in your handle bar is a good idea
Your content is so relaxing😊❤️
This was really cool, loved the pov. You are a really good delivery driver!
That room is crazy. I assume it's shared showers, toilet and showers? The things people do to stay in New York ay?
Yeah shared bathrooms but they’re are 4 of them and lol surprisingly this was the double room. Wait till you see the single 😂

Nice vid my dude, really love how smoothly you get in and out of traffic, quick transitions to buildings for pick ups/delivery AND doing it being professional and friendly. That's just neat, you've earned a follower 👍😎
May I ask how many deliveries you pick up on an average shift?
Cheers from Switzerland, ride easy & stay safe❤

Nice vid sir! I'm doing food deliveries too her in the PH and your videos are inspiring me. RS always sir! 🚴♀️💰
Dude, you need to put an electric wheel on your bike. You don't need a powerful one, 250 watts for the front wheel will be enough, the main thing is to have a PAS sensor. It will allow you to pedal the same way, but the motor will run in assist mode, you can set from 1 to 5 degrees of assist. You'll stay in shape and won't sweat when you don't feel like it. And when it's raining and you're wearing a raincoat, riding only on the electric motor will also keep you from sweating, because raincoats are mostly unventilated.
This is better than a movie that has too much noisy background music and is pretty immersive too
Congras to video, I from Brazil and think a very good work in bikes in NY. Have a good deliverys!
I love this.....id have this job if i lived in the city. I really want to know what a bag like this eould be like on my unicycle. I love the purity of fixed gear bikes but nothing beats a 32 inch unicycle.
Great job mate. Hard worker.
i get anxiety of doom just by watching the traffic. holy moly if i ever get to nyc ill never ride a bike or drive with a car thats for sure haha :D
The bicycle is a beautiful invention. Also, too many cars parked in the bike lane. One is too many.
