Starting A-Levels can feel overwhelming, but remember that it's completely normal to have these feelings. Everyone experiences a period of adjustment, and you're not alone in this. Here’s some advice to help you navigate through: Biology: Focus on using revision materials that are specific to your exam board. Exam questions can vary significantly between boards, with only about 60% content overlap. Ensure you're familiar with the new terminology by making flashcards or using free ones. Consistent review and practice with these terms will help solidify your understanding After each lesson, use our free masterclass content -sign up in the top right corner of the site. This is amazing I'm preparing for year 11 and my teacher said to watch some videos since a level bio is harder and this is so good ,you talk slowly so we can understand and the drawings help so much i will 100% be returning during the year!!!!
Currently sat here trying to take in this info. I’m not doing a level bio until September but I might as well do some pre-work before summer so I understand the lessons!

At 5:51:55 shouldn’t it be the opposite? The parasympathetic is acetyl choline and sympathetic is Noradrenaline?? My textbook and class notes say that?? Pls reply back to me if possible pls miss and clarify this thabksssss 🙏🙏
The parasympathetic is acetyl choline and sympathetic is Noradrenaline - Yes this is correct I am wrong in the video. Must have got mixed up when writing it out as usually noradrenaline is relaxing and acetylcholine is excitatory EXCEPT at synapses in the heart!
Finally finished. I'm taking a combined science access course soon so not sure how much of this will be needed but I want to get used to all core topics. Thanks a lot for your hard work on the channel! Next, chemistry
Hello, just out of interest I have bought ur gcse maths predicted papers, to what extent are they accurate?Just as accurate as the science ones you made? Please let me know.
😪 OMG, you wouldn't believe how many times we checked this for errors and that has snuck through. I've checked past papers and there are marks for talking about the inversion and glycosidic bonds but I don't think they would be the only marks, a couple of examples but it's shown to you and only one question where you would have to say inverted but they are given the diagrams and told to compare them so the answer is in front of you
Also, quick question as grading for 2023 is going to be similar to 2019 does that mean the standard of the questions going to be similar? Does doing papers from 2020 onwards bring out false standards in the papers in terms of difficulty?
Just commenting here to boost this in the algorithm for the people it'll help
much appreciated!
same here might as well!

literally starting a-level bio in sept (if I get the grades) and I'm just looking at this in agony knowing what's to come..

Hello, just out of interest I have bought ur gcse maths predicted papers, to what extent are they accurate?Just as accurate as the science ones you made? Please let me know.

A bit late but they had at least 3 exact questions and quite a few similar questions to the actual exam

Is AQA Chemistry easier than OCR Chemistry? I'm referring to A Levels.
not really, I'd say they are the same!
could this apply to A level edexcel biology as well ?
Look at your syllabus as they will have some similar and also some different.
Can I use this video CIE A Level Biology?
Maybe yes, I 'm using too

Also, quick question as grading for 2023 is going to be similar to 2019 does that mean the standard of the questions going to be similar? Does doing papers from 2020 onwards bring out false standards in the papers in terms of difficulty?
I think that’s for HIV?
Cd4 is only the receptor that is needed to be stated when talking about the HIV virus and it comments to a protien receptor 👍
