Be sure to check the Volume and Open Interest and the Bid/Ask spreads on the XSP and MRUT, and compare them to the SPY & SPX & IWM options chains. There is a HUGE difference.
Usually not but sometimes mrut can have wide bid-ask spread. When it does, just avoid it until it becomes normal again. Additionally, watch this: th-cam.com/video/LJ7dSnToMV8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=m-7RNCzg1UgOunkQ
I noticed that XSP and MRUT have very little Open Interest for the strike prices that I'm looking at about 45-60 days DTE. Should I just focus on SPX and IWM which has much more trading activity?
Hello Davis, Thank you very much for your so big content here on TH-cam ! Do you trade index etfs iron condors the whole year continuesly or are there sometimes any red flags, warning signals in the markets, that you choose to stop setting up a new ic trade? Which signals for iron condor trading do you usually check ? Many Greetings from Germany, MattSch
Another great video, thanks for sharing. Question for you, how widespread do you think trading with XPS and MRUT, and when the best time for greater profits? Thanks again
Great content! I have a question regarding the expected vs realized moves (@ 19:00). Is the realized at expiration or at 21 DTE? If at expiration, is it fair to say that the realized move should be even smaller at 21 DTE?
Hi thanks for sharing. Do I have to close the XSP iron condor before it expires? Or just let it expires and will get cash back without closing it? How about the XSP bull put (or bear call) spread, can let it expired without closing it? Thank you.
That depends on ur trading style. But with the cash-settled index, you can choose to hold the trade to expiration even if your strikes are ITM cos there's no early assignment or assignment of shares. You're welcome 👍
Hi Davis, which broker is good for option trading? I am using Interactive Brokers, but the commissions are quite expensive. Please advise. Many thanks.

Someone please help me here. I don’t understand why I need longer time horizon vs 2 days expiration? If I set my strikes 7-8 dollars away from qqq current price. Wouldn’t it better to expire in couple of days? Since the chance of moving 7-8 dollars in one or two days are rare. (Less than 3% in the past year). Going longer duration I am subject to have Vega going against me. What am I missing here?

it makes XSP and MRUT and RUT and SPX not even feasible in comparison to ETFs I can't get the trades I want
Excellent video, thanks
Thanks & you're welcome ☺️
Excellent content. Thanks so much!

at 15:20 you're talking about 16 delta, etc. How is that calculated? It doesn't seem to be related to the option delta.

Thank you ! Very informative.

Davis: Good straightforward information. Does the Bid-Ask spread become a problem & do you have a rule of thumb when the spread is too much.
Thanks

Agree. IWM has good liquidity, may try SPX unsure.

Probably a silly question but is the SPX more or less liquid than SPY? Which one do you prefer?
Hi Davis, which broker is good for option trading? I am using Interactive Brokers, but the commissions are quite expensive. Please advise. Many thanks.
Robinhood - easy and free trading
ToS & TT have good platform for options.
Robbin hood for free trading
Pattern trader limits. Ridiculous.
