I don't own any right to any of the movie clips Victorious (stylized as VICTORiOUS) is an American sitcom created by Dan Schneider that originally aired on Nickelodeon from March 27, 2010 to February 2, 2013. The series revolves around aspiring singer Tori Vega (portrayed by Victoria Justice), a teenager who attends a performing arts high school called Hollywood Arts High School, after taking her older sister Trina's (Daniella Monet) place in a showcase while getting into screwball situations on a daily basis. On her first day at Hollywood Arts, she meets Andre Harris (Leon Thomas III), Robbie Shapiro (Matt Bennett), Rex Powers (Robbie's puppet), Jade West (Elizabeth Gillies), Cat Valentine (Ariana Grande), and Beck Oliver (Avan Jogia). The series premiered after the 2010 Kids' Choice Awards. The series won for Favorite TV Show award at the 2012 Kids' Choice Awards and 2013 Kids' Choice Awards, beating out iCarly. Victorious earned four Emmy nominations.
On August 10, 2012, Victoria Justice stated that the series would not be renewed.[2] Also, after the announcement of the series' spin-off Sam & Cat was made, fans of Victorious expressed dismay that its spin-off series was the reason for its ending, but Dan Schneider himself stated otherwise.[3] Although the Victorious cast only filmed three seasons, when the decision to end the series was made, Nickelodeon split the third season in half, making a fourth season.
The scenes where Cat Valentine hangs out with some boys will always be 1 of my favorite Cat Valentine moments.

As a kid I thought of this episode was all fun and games just innocent fun.
As a 21 year old this episode was pretty weird. Like the director knew what he was doing having Cat walking by herself until 4 grown men start manipulating her into hanging out with them knowing she need to go back to her friends. Idk what would’ve happened if Cat actually stayed longer knowing what those guys would’ve actually done which now that I think about it sounds very disturbing.

That part @ 1:20 where Cat & the dude are randomly doing pottery is a reference pulled from an old movie called “Ghost”. In the movie, the couple is doing the exact same thing which leads into a super raunchy sex scene. Dan Schneider knew EXACTLY what he was doing with this scene.

I remember seeing this on TV and feeling scandalized like “how the heck did they get away with this on a kids show?”
You know The ending when they all came out to hug cat 1:45 really make me realize how important Ariana's character cat was & needed in the scene like this tbh even though she barley in it sometimes 😅😂😢👁️👀😁
I mean, Ariana has always said good things about filming, and has surprisingly never come out with anything negative about Nick in general as opposed to her peers and co-stars, but I still felt bad watching this when it came out. By then, I was old enough to see that it was just weird for these kind of suggestive themes to make it to a show for kids and young tweens. For everyone acting like this is the worst thing ever, it's not, there's far worse things Dan himself has done over the years, plus consider Ariana doesn't even take part in the allegations raised against Nickelodeon, and don't just use her to further an argument when she herself hasn't come out saying so. There's no ties to Nick that could possibly effect her career if she said anything either. The media would definitely be taking her side in it if she ever does come out with anything, but until she does, I think some people are being a bit too dramatic about these scenes when it comes to Dan's laundry.

When I was younger, I noticed this. If it was friendly and they got her with the guns and stopped immediately, then it would be fine. The thing is that they kept going and circled her.
