For those confused molly died due to poisoning from the holly berries. The cat owl shark and monster were hallucinations from the holly berries. The fluoride from the amount of toothpaste she ingested didn’t help either.
Absolutely loved it. The detail to each room is just amazing. And the stories behind each character. It's just phanomenal. Can't wait for the next one. Just amazing. Xx
Barbara’s story is actually a reference to a horror show called tales from the crypt which was basically a show that showed scenarios of people that had tragic events happened to them in story form.
I played this game when it first came out and alot of people did think that the berries were poison and her story was her tripping before she died from the berries.

I like how you keep saying it is sad because it is in terms of the atmosphere as well as the storyline. However, in a realistic sense when you get old you lose everyone. Normally there is one person left from the family still alive. Everyone you grew up with, relate to, and then you are left with the younger generation. That is really sad, helps you gain perspective.

This game is pretty good for anyone that hasn't tried it. Got it to play with my wife as she usually only plays simpler games like Mario, Animal Crossing, etc. but once she saw this trailer for this she was immediately interested. Chill gameplay and an interesting story to go with it.

This game is so great. Each death goes in depth about how that death happened. You should really play this game called Firewatch. It's a similar game but it's focused on one person.

I love games like these too. I feel similar to it. Most of my family has died and the others have abandoned me. I almost always feel alone with memories of what seems like multiple lives before this, but they're just memories of the only life I have. I feel depressed and scared as well, but it's how I always feel. Bed without dinner was a common punishment in our family. The actual Halloween movie score during the Barbara part.
Can you imagine if hollow did playthroughs in vr? Apparently big name devs are working on games for the quest 2. So im hoping for more mainstrean applications for content creators such as hollow to continue his adventures in vr. Especially horror games. Upvote for hollow in vr!

Absolute beautiful game I can personally relate Edith with her mom at the end when she dies because my mom too passed when I was young and that part hit me hard
