I think you should enjoy Miss! I have not read flaming Carrot nor The Mask and I found Men of Wrath to be well written but too dark for me. You might feel differently though. You might want to check out our Crime Corner videos where Taylor and I discuss crime comics. We discuss a lot of crime noir there!

I've not been near the [book] series at all and totally missed out on ''Plague of Frogs' however, I have noticed upcoming 'Abe Sapian' and 'Hell on Earth' titles later this year and wondering if it's worth grabbing the Hellboy titles before starting these......? Miss Better Living Through Crime seems right in my wheelhouse. Sadly though my disposable income(what little I have) cannot justify taking a chance on this title with so much out there. I love the medium but there is just so much out there and I have to be pickier.
